Up-and-coming actress Jenna Ortega is quickly making a name for herself. Starting out as a child star on Jane the Virgin and Disney's Stuck in the Middle, Ortega has since landed roles in major hits like You, The Fallout, Yes Day, Scream VI, and Wednesday, which premiered on Netflix in November 2022. Not only is she a talented actress, but the California native has also become known for her impressive sense of style.
When Ortega first entered Hollywood, her wardrobe was charming, colorful, and undeniably youthful. At Mickey's 90th Spectacular in October 2018, the then 16-year-old Babysitter: Killer Queen star looked adorable in a bright red jumpsuit with a sweetheart neckline, paired with bow-adorned sandal heels and Mickey Mouse-shaped sunglasses. The following year, at the Miss Bala premiere, Ortega donned a trendy sparkly blue two-piece set and glittery mules.
As she grew older, her style evolved. At the InStyle Golden Globes after party in January 2020, Ortega stood out in a sheer and lace corset dress by Gretel Z. Another memorable moment from the X actress came at the 2022 Met Gala, where she embraced the Barbiecore trend in Valentino. Ortega made a statement in a hot pink, crystal-covered mini dress paired with fuchsia tights and platform heels as she walked the iconic steps.
After her roles in Scream, You, and Wednesday, Ortega showcased a series of grunge-inspired outfits — perhaps as a nod to her involvement in thrilling projects. (In Wednesday, Ortega takes on the character of Wednesday Addams — the enigmatic daughter of the adored Addams family — as she strives to harness her psychic abilities while unraveling a series of murders connected to her parents, Morticia and Gomez Addams, portrayed by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán, respectively.)

During the Wednesday premiere, Ortega embodied the look of a corpse bride in a lace slip dress from Versace, complete with a high slit. She topped the look off with a black tulle veil and smoky eye makeup. In December 2022, she fully embraced the grunge aesthetic by exchanging her long brunette hair for a shaggy wolf cut. To achieve the voluminous look, her hairstylist, David Stanwell, recommended using Authentic Beauty Concept Amplify Mousse, Beachy Texture Spray, and Authentic Concept Airy Texture Spray, as told to Allure.
