Jenna Bush Hager's Unforgettable Reunion: Sharing a 'Special' Dinner With Her Parents and Sister After a Decade

Jenna Bush Hager reunited with her twin sister, Barbara Bush, and their parents after a decade for a special occasion. The Today With Hoda & Jenna coanchor, who is 41 years old, shared that the family of four came together to celebrate the 77th birthday of former First Lady Laura Bush and their parents' 46th wedding anniversary, George W. Bush being the former President.
On the November 6 episode of Today With Hoda & Jenna, Jenna disclosed, "It dawned on us that it has been nearly two decades since we've had an intimate dinner with just the four of us." However, upon further reflection, she corrected herself, noting that it had been more like a decade since the four of them had enjoyed such a meal together.
"I have been married to my husband for a considerable period of time, and we have been blessed with children for the past decade," she stated. "Barbara, on the other hand, has had various romantic relationships, including boyfriends and husbands, and so on," she elaborated.
Hoda Kotb chuckled at this comment and inquired about the intended meaning. "She has had romantic involvements with different boyfriends before ultimately tying the knot, hence the 'etcetera'," Jenna clarified.
Jenna and Henry Hager have been married since 2008 and have three children together: Margaret "Mila" Laura, Poppy Louise, and Hal. Meanwhile, Barbara got married to Craig Coyne in 2018 and has a daughter named Cora.
Describing a recent dinner, Barbara mentioned the unique and intimate experience of just the four of them. With no distractions, they had an enjoyable time together. Later, they all gathered in bed, with her dad watching a football game and her mom opening her presents. Eventually, they all went to bed at 8:45.
Jenna shared a lovely photo of themselves enjoying an intimate dinner.
"Happy birthday to our beloved mother! We are thrilled to have the opportunity to spend this evening with just the four of us. We love you incredibly! @laurawbush And also, a very joyful 46th anniversary to our parents. We love you both!" Jenna expressed on Instagram.
Laura expressed her gratitude for her daughters' visit on her birthday and promoted Jenna and Barbara's new book, "Love Comes First," in an Instagram post.
