Jenna Bush Hager Shares Her Thoughts on Women Flirting with Husband Henry

Jenna Bush Hager finds harmless flirting to be a fun and exciting addition to her marriage with husband Henry Chase Hager. In a recent conversation with her Today show cohost Hoda Kotb, Bush Hager shared, "I actually enjoy it when people flirt with Henry."

The former first daughter, who is 42 years old, shared that wearing her wedding ring is a confidence booster for her. She humorously mentioned, “I’m just like, ‘Baby girl’s still got it!’” She also expressed her security in her relationship, stating, “Because I am very secure in our relationship.”

Bush Hager mentioned that she enjoys some attention towards her husband, but she also sets boundaries in this aspect.

She mentioned that a little flirting can be appealing, but clarified that Hager doesn't overdo it.

Their romantic journey began during her father's presidency, filled with charming and funny moments.

Early in their relationship, Bush Hager decided to surprise her now-husband by sneaking him in for a secret overnight stay at the White House. However, their plan was foiled when they were caught by a Secret Service agent.

Bush Hager later shared the amusing anecdote on both Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and Today with Hoda & Jenna. She laughingly recounted how her husband, Henry, woke up in the White House and was momentarily startled, exclaiming, “Aaaaaaaah” because he worked for her dad.

Despite the unexpected meeting, she casually replied, "Well, have fun. I didn't care. Bye!" she remembered.

Bush Hager shared, "My parents were away, so I was staying there. We had gone out to the bars, and like in any relationship, things had escalated."

She added, "Can you imagine waking up and just being like, 'Where am I? What is this strange room?'"

However, Bush Hager later told Cohen that the issue was that she had been "caught" by the Secret Service.

In a podcast episode last year, Bush Hager shared her admiration for her husband's resilience. She mentioned how he stuck around through challenges and much more. She believes that everyone is drawn to people who actively engage in life.

Now celebrating 15 years of marriage, the couple has three children together: Mila, 10, Poppy, 8, and Hal, 4. Despite Jenna's desire for a fourth baby, Hager believes their family is complete.

During an episode of Today With Hoda & Jenna in August 2023, Jenna, 41, expressed her wish to have another baby, but they have decided not to expand their family further.

"Henry is adamant that we are content with our three healthy babies," she explained. She mentioned that their age and past health issues are the main reasons why they have decided not to have another child.

Although Bush Hager did not disclose the specific health challenges, she has previously spoken openly about the ectopic pregnancy she went through before welcoming her daughter Mila in 2013.

Losing the baby was tough, but she is thankful for her three healthy, happy children. She mentioned that when she sees her three kids, she wonders how things would have been different if the baby had survived.
