Jared Leto made headlines this week by taking on a daring feat. Instead of Spider-Man or King Kong, it was Leto himself who scaled the iconic Empire State Building. This fearless act was part of his announcement for the upcoming world tour of his band, Thirty Seconds to Mars.
The "2024 Seasons" tour is scheduled for an extensive run across Latin America, Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand, signifying the group's inaugural headline tour in more than five years.
Leto, the frontman of the band, successfully accomplished the first-ever ascent of the Empire State Building.
Leto, the frontman for Thirty Seconds to Mars, described the building as a testament to what can be achieved when we apply ourselves. This inspiring concept heavily influenced our latest album titled "It's The End Of The World But It's A Beautiful Day," Leto said in a statement. Despite being an enthusiastic climber, this accomplishment was a significant challenge for him.
"I have successfully reached the summit and I am filled with a sense of triumph. As I stood atop, I unexpectedly caught a glimpse of my dear mother peering out from the window on the 80th floor. It was an incredibly heartwarming surprise," Leto recounted during the interview on the "Today" show. "My mother had graciously come to pay me a visit."

The tour kicks off March 15 at Lollapalooza in Buenos Aires. After touring South America, the band will perform in Europe and North America before concluding in New Zealand in September.
