Five months after giving birth to her son Roman, Jana Kramer shared some exciting news on her podcast. She took a pregnancy test after a little mishap with her fiancé, Allan Russell. Kramer started to suspect she might be pregnant when her period was two weeks late.

Allan was always careful, so I wasn't mad at him because it had never happened before. It literally had never happened before. Then out of nowhere, Jace took a little rock and prayed, "Dear God, I want my mommy to have another baby," and I told him to throw the rock outside.

After two weeks of freaking out, Kramer, who has kids Jolie, 8, and Jace, 5, with ex-husband Mike Caussin, decided to take a pregnancy test. She saw a faint line, similar to when she first found out she was pregnant with Roman.

She continued, "I thought I was pregnant, but then I got my period three days later." Instead of being relieved, Kramer actually felt the opposite. She expressed, "I realized I want another child. I would love to have another one with Allan at the right time."

Kramer mentioned that her age is the main factor holding her back from having another child. She expressed that if she were younger, she would have another child without hesitation, saying, "If I was 38, I would have another one."

While Russell, aged 43, was open to the idea of expanding their family, they both agreed that their family is most likely complete. Kramer explained that she feels her body may not be able to handle another pregnancy, and Russell is not keen on pursuing IVF. Thus, they have decided not to pursue having a baby through a surrogate either.

Kramer and Russell, who got engaged in May 2023, welcomed their son Roman last fall. They expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to create something special together in a statement to People in November 2023. They explained that while the name Roman was chosen simply because they both loved it for its strength, his middle name, James, was a tribute to both of their grandfathers.

Kramer has been sharing adorable photos of her baby Roman on Instagram, delighting fans with glimpses of their bond. In a March post, she humorously pointed out the resemblance between Russell and Roman, joking that her DNA didn't even try. She playfully referred to herself as merely a house for him for 9 months.
