Issa Rae just gave Us a very important reminder that two-pieces are always a good idea.

The 38-year-old actress was seen at the Good Morning America studios on Tuesday, August 1, wearing a stylish white crop top and matching miniskirt. Her ensemble was refreshing and perfect for the hot weather in New York City. To complete the monochrome look, she paired it with ivory sandal heels and accessorized with Gucci's Diana mini tote bag. She added a touch of glamour with metallic gold earrings and trendy Senegalese twists for her hair.

Earlier, Rae impressed with another outfit while promoting Barbie in London last month. She looked stunning in a pink tweed two-piece by Self Portrait. The ensemble included a bralette with buttons and a matching miniskirt with pockets. Rae finished the look with sparkly pink heels and a bedazzled handbag.

Once again, she captivated everyone with her stunning appearance in pink at the U.K. premiere of the film on July 12. Rae effortlessly shone in a strapless fuchsia dress, complete with an alluring high slit and a prominent waist detail. Interestingly enough, she amusingly revealed her disdain for the color pink during the event.

"I absolutely despise pink, to be honest," she confided to television personality Amelia Dimoldenberg on the red carpet. "I'm aware. I don't want the soundtrack to overshadow the film."

Rae added, "However, for this movie, I'm embracing the pink aesthetic, but once it's completed, I plan to rid myself of anything pink... I mean, I do appreciate it for Barbie's sake. It brings me joy for Barbie, but personally, I prefer a more somber tone."

Barbie features Margot Robbie as the main character, Barbie, and Ryan Gosling as Ken, while Rae portrays President Barbie. In a July 13 interview with Glamour, Rae spoke about her experience of being cast in the movie, admitting that she had some initial reservations. She revealed that director Greta Gerwig reached out to her after she finished working on both Insecure and Rap Sh!t.

"I thought, 'Okay, I'm going to relax and indulge in all kinds of food,'" shared Rae with Glamour. "But then I was offered the opportunity to play Barbie and I immediately thought, 'Oh, I don't have the ideal Barbie figure.' However, I soon realized that Greta's Barbie universe embraces diverse body types. This realization made me feel less self-conscious about not having a conventional Barbie body, even though I was still working towards my fitness goals."
