Will there be a fourth season of Sonic Prime? The third season is now available on Netflix, but fans are wondering if there will be more to come. Co-written by Justin Peniston and Duncan Rouleau and developed by the team behind Ben 10 and Ultimate Spider-Man, the series follows Sonic as he is transported to an alternate reality in the Shatterverse after his desire to be a hero.

Is there going to be a Sonic Prime Season 4?

Bad news, folks: Sonic Prime Season 4 probably isn’t happening, as Season 3 marked the end of the show. However, that doesn’t mean the story is over.

Sonic Prime debuted in 2022 as a 24-episode series, but the conclusion of Season 3 leaves some unanswered questions. After Nine transfers the Prism’s energy to Sonic, he uses it to defeat the Eggmen and restore Green Hills, with the energy of his home ultimately saving Sonic's life. Egghead attempts to take the prism, but Shadow swoops in and makes off with it. Just as everything appears to be returning to normal, a mysterious force appears in the distance, leaving the show on a cliffhanger ending.

Hello everyone. I previously mentioned that I didn't want to discuss Prime's placement until it was finalized. If you've seen the ending, then beware of spoilers. However, it's not a big deal because Prime ends up wiping itself out. It's set sometime after Advance 3, but other than that, it's not important.

Fans are understandably feeling frustrated due to the lack of a clear answer about the fate of the Shatterverse. Ian Flynn, a well-known Sonic writer, expressed his stance on the matter, stating that he didn't want to discuss Prime's placement until it was completed. He goes on to mention that Prime wipes itself out, and that its placement is sometime after Advance 3, but otherwise, it's irrelevant. Flynn also mentioned that he didn't want to spoil the resolution of Prime and that fans should simply savor it if they enjoyed it or ignore it if they didn't.

Reddit fans are speculating that the ending could lead to a new series or even a feature film. "A Sonic Prime movie, a potential season 4, and/or a whole new Sonic cartoon – it's all good! By now you should realize that nothing slows this franchise down," one fan suggested. "There's totally going to be a Season 4 come on, the way it ends screams that there will be more," another commented.

As a Gen Z netizen, I'm a huge fan of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and I was eagerly anticipating the release of Sonic Prime Season 3. The show has been a wild ride so far, with its unique take on the Sonic universe and its compelling storylines. The cliffhanger ending of Season 3 left me on the edge of my seat, and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next.

However, I'm disappointed to hear that Sonic Prime Season 4 is not in the works. The show has been a critical and commercial success, and it has a large and dedicated fan base. I understand that the creators may want to wrap up the story in a satisfying way, but I can't help but feel that there is still so much potential for more adventures in the Shatterverse. I hope that the creators will reconsider their decision and give us at least one more season of Sonic Prime.
