Fortnite has deviated from its usual seasons and chapters, introducing a distinctive mode called Fortnite OG. Responding to the community's long-standing desire for the return of Athena Island, the original Battle Royale map, Epic Games has gratifyingly granted this request in the form of a condensed, one-month event.
In contrast to the usual norms, the Battle Pass has undergone notable modifications this time. Consequently, some enthusiasts have begun questioning whether they can leverage the Fortnite Crew subscription service to obtain it without cost. This guide aims to address all the queries fans may have.
Is the OG Pass A Fortnite Crew Benefit?
Many players opt for the Fortnite Crew subscription at the conclusion of a season in order to receive a refund for the Battle Pass and obtain the next one without any additional charge. However, gamers began to question whether they would still be eligible for this benefit after noticing that Epic Games stated "the Battle Pass will be available again in the upcoming season" on the official Battle Pass webpage on November 3.
Fortnite OG has been labeled as a "time-traveling turbo season," with a duration of only about a month. In order to allow gamers to finish the Battle Pass and acquire all its rewards three times faster than usual, Epic Games had to implement significant modifications. However, it's worth mentioning that the OG Pass will be available for free to Fortnite Crew members.
How the OG Pass Works
The OG Pass offers a quicker-paced alternative to the traditional Fortnite Battle Pass. While regular Fortnite seasons typically span almost three months, the Fortnite OG Pass will only run for one month. As a result, it features half the rewards of the regular Battle Pass, including a reduced number of V-Bucks that gamers can acquire.
The Battle Pass offers 100 rewards for Fortnite players who reach level 100 in their account. In contrast, the OG Pass provides only 50 rewards. Gamers have a one-month timeframe to achieve 50 account levels.
Normally, players would invest 950 V-Bucks in the Battle Pass and earn 1,500 V-Bucks upon completion. However, with the OG Pass priced at 950 V-Bucks, reaching the end will only reward them with 1,000 V-Bucks.
The OG Pass will be available until December 2, 2023, at 10 PM ET.

As a hard fan of Fortnite, I am thrilled about the introduction of Fortnite OG, a unique mode that brings back the beloved Athena Island map for a limited time. Epic Games has listened to the community's requests and delivered an exciting condensed event that allows players to relive the nostalgia of the original Battle Royale experience.
The OG Pass, a special Battle Pass for this mode, offers a faster-paced alternative to the traditional Fortnite Battle Pass. With a duration of only one month, it features half the rewards of the regular Battle Pass, including a reduced number of V-Bucks. While some players may be disappointed by the shorter length and fewer rewards, I believe it's a fair trade-off for the chance to experience the classic Fortnite map once again.
I appreciate Epic Games' commitment to keeping the game fresh and engaging by introducing new and innovative modes like Fortnite OG. It's clear that the developers are passionate about the game and are willing to listen to feedback from the community. I can't wait to dive into Fortnite OG and relive the early days of Fortnite.
