Fortnite OG has brought us back to the Chapter 1, Season 5 version of the battle royale island. This condensed 30-day season offers a 50-level battle pass with fewer skins and no collaborations compared to a regular pass. Despite the reduced content, Epic is still charging the usual price of 950 V-bucks. Although this may be frustrating, especially considering the recent increase in V-Bucks prices, the short duration of this season means that Fortnite Crew can provide some relief. Subscribing for just one month will grant you access to both the Fortnite OG pass and the upcoming pass, likely for Chapter 5, Season 1.
The concept of Fortnite Crew is simple. For $12 per month, you receive 1000 V-Bucks, a skin, a set of accompanying cosmetics, and the current battle pass if you don't already possess it. The system is designed to allow some maneuvering - by subscribing every two months, you can acquire every Fortnite Crew cosmetic. If you join Crew at the end of one month, you'll receive the cosmetics for that month as well as the following month's rewards.
The Crew perk is what truly makes Crew membership worthwhile. Additionally, since this season is only 30 days long, you can join Crew at the beginning of the season and enjoy the benefits for the following season as well. This is the first time such an opportunity is available due to OG being the shortest season in Fortnite's history.
The current Crew skin, named Drakon Steel Hybdrid, is a robotic version of the Hybrid skin inspired by Godzilla from Chapter 1. While we are unaware of the upcoming month's set, it is highly likely that it will be associated with the live event at the end of Fortnite OG, just like last year's Mecha Strike Commander Crew pack was tied to the Collision event.

As a hard fan of Fortnite, I am thrilled about the announcement that Fortnite Crew is offering two battle passes this month. This is an incredible value for players, as it essentially means that you can get two battle passes for the price of one. I am also excited about the return of the Chapter 1, Season 5 version of the battle royale island. This was a very popular season among players, and it will be great to experience it again.
I think that Epic is doing a great job of keeping the game fresh and exciting, and I am looking forward to seeing what they have in store for us in the future. I would highly recommend subscribing to Fortnite Crew if you are a fan of the game. It is a great way to get access to exclusive content and to support the developers.
