Irina Shayk Praises Bradley Cooper as an Incredible Father to Daughter Lea: Successfully Co-parenting

Speaking to Elle in an interview published on November 8, Irina Shayk expressed nothing but admiration and affection for her former partner Bradley Cooper, particularly applauding his abilities as a parent. The 37-year-old model effusively declared, "He is without a doubt the finest father that Lea and I could ever hope for. Our co-parenting works seamlessly, and that is solely because we put in the effort to make it so."

Shayk mentioned that she and Cooper prioritize giving their daughter, Lea De Seine, a normal childhood despite their busy schedules and lack of a nanny's assistance. They both make an effort to bring Lea along wherever they go. Shayk shared an example of taking Lea to the gym and giving her a drawing book to keep her occupied while she worked out. Lea enjoyed drawing for an hour before they headed to a Michael Kors fitting, where she got to meet the girls and received a bag from Michael himself. In return, Lea drew him a picture of a kitty cat.

Despite becoming a mother, Shayk remains the same person she was before having Lea. She jokingly mentioned that Lea has a fondness for caviar.

Shayk and Cooper had their first and only child together in March 2017, two years into their relationship. Despite rumors of engagement, their romance ended after four years in July 2019. When they split, a source stated that they would coordinate to ensure their daughter is always in the care of one parent. They also mentioned that both Bradley and Irina would be present for important events in their daughter's life.

In a September 2021 interview with Highsnobiety, Shayk described her ex as a fully involved father, stating that he takes care of their daughter without the help of a nanny. She mentioned that Lea even went on holiday with him for nearly two weeks, and she didn't feel the need to call them once.

Beyond maintaining a cordial coparenting relationship, the former partners have also ignited speculation of a possible reconciliation. "Irina and Bradley's exchanges and interactions have become increasingly flirtatious," revealed another source to Us in November 2022, indicating that their friends believe a reunion could be in their future.

Despite rumors and their attendance at the 2023 Met Gala together in May, both Shayk and Cooper have moved on with new partners. Last year, Cooper was linked to Dianna Agron and Huma Abedin, while Shayk gained attention in July for her relationship with Tom Brady. However, a recent source confirmed that Shayk's involvement with the former NFL star has come to an end.

During her time with Brady, Shayk shared vacation photos with Cooper where she was seen topless. She also posted an Instagram Story in August featuring a shirtless Cooper on a kayak. According to a source, Brady is not concerned about whether Shayk is still involved with Cooper as they are not in a committed relationship, allowing Shayk to date whomever she pleases.

In her interview with Elle on Wednesday, Shayk avoided addressing the question about her current relationship status with Brady. When asked, she simply replied, "No comment." She explained that she chooses to keep her personal life separate from her work and that's why it's called personal - it belongs to her. She also added that if she ever feels like sharing it in the future, she will.
