Invincible Season 2 Episode 4 delivers a thrilling and intense midseason finale with plenty of action and high-stakes drama. This episode raises the bar for superhero television with its ruthless and jaw-dropping moments. The anticipation for what's to come is palpable as the stakes continue to rise.

Omni-Man is now a peaceful emperor on Thraxa, but the shadow of his past still haunts him. He seeks Mark's help to protect himself and his youngest child from any Viltrumites who may come looking for them. As the episode concludes, here's a rundown of the characters who met their demise in Season 2 Episode 4. Spoilers ahead...

Who dies in Invincible Season 2 Episode 4?

Just one person is dead for sure after Invincible Season 2 Episode 4: Vidor, one of the Viltrumite soldiers who invades Thraxa.

Three Viltrumites arrive in Thraxa in search of Nolan, the same individuals who violently attacked Allen in Episode 3: Thula, Lucan, and Vidor. Vidor engages in a brutal fistfight with Omni-Man, but Nolan defeats him by crushing his head with a powerful double punch and pressing his head into the ground with his foot, leaving his survival chances nearly nonexistent.

The fates of the other two Viltrumites are more complex. Lucan was believed to be dead after Nolan sliced his stomach open and impaled him against a wall with a boulder, but he unexpectedly fell onto Nolan’s back and seemingly passed away next to him, before eventually being carried away in a stretcher into the Viltrumite ship. It appears likely that we will see him again.

Thula suffers a brutal attack from Omni-Man, who yanks her face into his elbow, causing her jaw to come unhinged. She collapses to the ground, leaving her survival uncertain. Given her significance in the comics, there is a possibility that she may return in the next set of episodes. Invincible Season 2 Episodes 1-4 are now streaming on Prime Video. As a Gen Z netizen, I have mixed feelings about the shocking deaths in Invincible Season 2 Episode 4. On the one hand, I am thrilled by the show's willingness to take risks and push the boundaries of superhero storytelling. The deaths of Vidor, Lucan, and Thula are all incredibly impactful and help to raise the stakes of the show.

On the other hand, I am also saddened by the loss of these characters. Vidor was a complex and sympathetic villain, and I was intrigued by his potential for redemption. Lucan was a formidable opponent for Omni-Man, and I would have liked to see more of their rivalry. Thula was a powerful and enigmatic character, and I am curious to see how her death will affect the story going forward.

Overall, I think the shocking deaths in Invincible Season 2 Episode 4 are a positive development for the show. They demonstrate the show's willingness to take risks and tell a compelling story. However, I am also saddened by the loss of these characters and I am curious to see how their deaths will affect the story going forward.
