The roses have wilted on Chelsea Vaughn and Austin Tinsley’s relationship.
"After witnessing the development of our love story, we feel it is important to inform you all that we are no longer in a relationship," stated the Bachelor Nation stars in a joint Instagram post on September 28th. "This decision was not made lightly and did not fulfill either of our initial aspirations. While our hearts are burdened, we are also grateful for the way we were able to separate with love and respect for one another and our relationship."
In conclusion, they expressed, "Unfortunately, due to our unique circumstances, we were unable to share a year's worth of cherished moments with all of you. However, we are incredibly grateful for the love and support you have shown us and our relationship during these past few months."
Vaughn, 31, and Tinsley, 27, who named themselves "Aussea" after their breakup, crossed paths on season 2 of the Canadian version of Bachelor in Paradise in mid-2022 (which aired this summer).
"I initially perceived him as this attractive 6'6 California guy, and I didn't think I would be his type," Vaughn, who had previously appeared on Matt James' season of The Bachelor, revealed exclusively on We's "Here for the Right Reasons" podcast in July. "But he completely surprised me, over and over again. As we started talking more, I realized we have a strong mental and emotional connection. I was truly captivated by his unique way of thinking because, as he mentioned, we have different perspectives. This allowed us to gain new insights and understand each other's point of view. And we continue to do so."
Thank You!
Upon forming a strong connection during their time on the Canadian iteration of the beach spinoff, Vaughn and Tinsley made the mutual decision to depart the show as a couple, rather than becoming engaged. In due course, Tinsley relocated to New York City - Vaughn's place of residence - and together they embarked on the search for a new apartment.

"I want to ensure that she feels comfortable with my presence and the addition of another person in the house. And of course, I need to make sure I stay organized. I must admit, doing the dishes is probably my weakest area," he humorously informed Us when discussing his move to New York City.
Throughout their relocation, the pair shared updates on social media. Eventually, in August, they announced that they had secured a new home in Jersey City, New Jersey. Their plans for their previous shared apartment remain unknown at this time.
