Not only is she the cohost of Food Network’s The Kitchen and the host of Cooking Channel’s Beach Bites with Katie Lee, but she has also appeared as the former host of Bravo’s Top Chef. In addition to her successful television career, Katie is a published author with titles such as The Comfort Table and The Comfort Table: Recipes for Everyday Occasions. She has also written It’s Complicated and Endless Summer cookbooks, as well as the novel Ground Swell in 2012.

Being a mom is what Biegel loves the most. Her favorite part of the day is cuddling in bed and watching cartoons with her 3-year-old daughter, Iris. They enjoy watching Paw Patrol together while she has her morning coffee.

Apart from being a mom, Biegel also enjoys focusing on fitness, shopping, and filming cooking videos for her Instagram. She finds her career skills helpful at home too. They usually have dinner with pasta she made earlier, chicken cutlets, guacamole, and a salad. After dinner, they have bath time and bedtime for Iris, followed by cleaning up the kitchen with her husband, Ryan.

After a long day, Biegel likes to unwind with her husband, whom she married in 2018. They enjoy a glass of wine together.

"Ryan and I usually have some wine, watch TV, and I wrap up my work on the computer," she shares with Us. "We call it a night and turn off the lights by 9:15!"

Katie Lee Biegel effortlessly juggles her roles as a professional chef, TV host, and mother to one child. She admits that she sometimes enjoys a glass of wine to unwind and relax after a busy day.

Not only is she known as the cohost of Food Network’s The Kitchen and the host of Cooking Channel’s Beach Bites with Katie Lee, but she has also been a former host on Bravo’s Top Chef. Biegel is also a published author, with her first cookbook, The Comfort Table, being released in 2008. Following its success, she published The Comfort Table: Recipes for Everyday Occasions a year later. Additionally, she has written the cookbooks It’s Complicated and Endless Summer, as well as the novel Ground Swell in 2012.

6:30 a.m.

Biegel starts her mornings in bed with her daughter, Iris, who she has with Ryan. "We enjoy watching Paw Patrol together while I drink my coffee," the Food Network star shares with Us. "It's the best part of my day because she's so affectionate."

9:00 a.m.

In the morning, I start my day with a big fruit bowl for breakfast. Then, I head to S10 gym for a workout session with my trainer. It's always fun because my friend Nate Berkus, who is an interior designer, joins me sometimes. We end up goofing off more than actually exercising!

10:30 a.m.

Biegel enjoys stopping by a local bodega to pick up some fresh flowers for creating beautiful arrangements. She explains, "Having fresh flowers around the house brings me joy and brings a calming atmosphere to every room."

Biegel is all set for the camera ("I like to use Revlon Illuminance Foundation and Super Lustrous lipstick in Whiskey Business," she shares) as she records cooking videos for Instagram. "It's a chilly day in NYC, and these recipes - Chicken Bolognese with Rigatoni, and Veggie Chili and Cornbread Pot Pie - are perfect for the weather. The whole house smells amazing."

Living with a chef definitely has its perks! Every evening, we get to enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by the chef, which includes pasta, chicken cutlets, guacamole, and a salad. After dinner, it's bath and bedtime for Iris, and then Ryan and I take care of cleaning up the kitchen.

Biegel kicks back by pouring a glass of Kind of Wild’s Cabernet Sauvignon. “Ryan and I drink wine, watch TV and I finish up work on my computer,” she tells Us. “Lights out at 9:15!”
