Reality TV star Jen Shah celebrated her 50th birthday while serving her prison sentence. However, her husband Sharrieff Shah made sure to mark the milestone and expressed gratitude for their current situation, stating that they are exactly where they are meant to be, according to an Instagram video posted on October 5th.
The football coach emphasized the importance of providing reassurance to incarcerated individuals, such as his wife Jen, who started her sentence in February. He wanted to ensure that their loved ones "on the outside" had not forgotten about them. To accomplish this, Sharrieff organized a special surprise for Jen's 50th birthday.
"I reached out to 50 of her family members and closest friends and asked them to write a birthday text or message for me to give to her," Sharrieff explained in a social media video. "Today, she received all of them. It exceeded all my expectations."
After receiving the heartfelt letters, Jen had a 10-minute phone call with Sharrieff. He expressed, "My wife was overcome with tears of happiness and gratitude for approximately 6 and a half minutes. I repeatedly assured her, 'Darling, we love you more than you realize. You have not been forgotten,'" he affectionately shared, proceeding to read excerpts from various letters.

Jen's sister, Jessica, encouraged the Bravo star to "keep pushing forward, despite the obstacles in your path, and always wear your crown, queen."
In addition, Jessica assured Jen, "I believe in you, and I will always be there for you. I love you and I couldn't be prouder. Looking forward to throwing the most incredible birthday celebration when you return."
Sharrieff, who has two sons named Sharrieff Jr., aged 28, and Omar, aged 19, with Jen, expressed his appreciation for the fact that his wife received ample love and support on her birthday. Jen, along with her assistant Stuart Smith, was taken into custody in March 2021 due to their alleged involvement in a telemarketing scam that targeted and deceived numerous victims, most of whom were over the age of 55. Although both initially entered pleas of not guilty, the founder of Shah Lashes, Jen, changed her plea in July 2022.
In January, we announced that Jen had received a six-and-a-half-year prison sentence, along with five years of supervised release. However, her sentence has recently been shortened by one year. The updated release date, as indicated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons' inmate database, is now August 30, 2028.
While serving her sentence at FPC Bryan in Texas, Jen has kept herself occupied by organizing a fictitious Real Housewives production and conducting fitness classes.
Her friend Murilo Bueno revealed that she conducts her popular 'Shah-Mazing Abs' classes on Thursdays and Fridays. These hour-long sessions are always fully booked, with attendance ranging from 60 to 80 women. Some enthusiasts even choose to observe the class instead of participating. Bueno believes that her motivation behind organizing these classes is not just to keep herself occupied, but also to provide a beneficial outlet for others to maintain an active lifestyle.
