Brenda Song Jokes Typical Date Night With Macaulay Culkin Is All About Food

Brenda Song and her fiancé Macaulay Culkin enjoy casual date nights, focusing mainly on food.

"We don't really go out much," Song, 35, joked in an interview with E! News on Monday, March 18. "We just eat, eat and spend time together."

The actress mentioned that she and Culkin, 43, enjoy spending a lot of time together and going out to eat when they have free time.

Song shared that their downtime as a couple is usually filled with interruptions from their two children: sons Dakota, 3, and Carson, 14 months old.

Parenthood can be challenging, but you just have to find a way to make it work. As a parent, I believe that in order to be the best mom, I also need to take care of myself and enjoy life.

Song and Culkin's relationship began on the set of their movie Changeland in 2017, which was later released two years later.

Song shared with us in September 2018 about her honeymoon phase. She excitedly expressed, "It's amazing. I usually keep my personal life private, but everything is going wonderfully and I'm really happy."

Us confirmed in January 2022 that the Home Alone star had proposed to Song after five years together.

Dakota, named after Culkin's late sister, was born in April 2021. Their family grew again in the winter of 2022 when their second son, Carson, was quietly welcomed around the holidays. In December 2023, Culkin received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with the whole crew present.

Culkin expressed his gratitude to Brenda, acknowledging her as his champion and the best person he has ever known. He tearfully thanked her for making him a father and giving him purpose and family. After the birth of their two boys, Brenda has become one of his three favorite people. He expressed his deep love for her.

Macaulay’s brother Kieran Culkin, who is known for his role on Succession, was noticeably missing from the ceremony.
