Inside Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs' Lavish Hometown Baby Shower – A Love Story Filled with Surprises and Adorable Moments

Bachelor Nation's Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs are expecting their first baby, and the little one is already receiving a tremendous amount of love and attention. Kufrin took to Instagram on Sunday, July 16, to share photos from her baby shower, expressing gratitude to their friends and family for making the day so special. She conveyed that words cannot fully capture the joy and happiness they feel in their hearts.

Kufrin proudly showcased her baby bump in a stylish blue sundress while posing with loved ones, including her mother, Jill Kufrin, and Jacobs' mother, Lisa Jacobs. The joyful gathering occurred in Kufrin's hometown of Prior Lake, Minnesota, providing her with a delightful introduction to a Minnesotan summer. Thomas, 30, enthusiastically shared additional celebratory pictures on Instagram, capturing the essence of the event.

The bash had a starry night theme, with a "Love You to the Moon and Back" banner welcoming all the guests as they arrived at the venue. Additionally, Becca saw this party as an opportunity to equalize the status with her fiancé, whom she herself proposed to in May 2022.

"Alright, considering my obvious state of being heavily pregnant, I have made up my mind to challenge Thomas during my baby shower," she expressed in a video on her Instagram Story on Saturday, July 15. "So, we have grabbed a watermelon, some other melons, and a roll of Saran Wrap."

Using the Saran Wrap, Becca proceeded to fasten the melons onto Thomas' belly and chest, replicating the weight equivalent to what she carries during her pregnancy.

After securing the fruits, Becca's fiancé indulged in the melons for the remainder of the party. Becca humorously captioned a photo of Thomas playing cornhole as he "tried the bump on for size."

In April, Becca and Thomas, who crossed paths on season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021, shared the exciting news that they are anticipating their first child.

"Arriving in September 2023, a party of 5 awaits. With great anticipation, Becca expressed her excitement to meet and nurture little Bebe as they embark on a journey of growth together. Two beloved dogs are also eagerly awaiting the newest addition to the family. Their love for this unborn child knows no bounds, reaching the moon and back."

Shortly after, within a month's time, the couple discovered the gender of their baby. Becca joyfully shared the news on Instagram, exclaiming, "It's a ... little Tommy!"

Becca gained widespread recognition as the chosen partner of Arie Luyendyk Jr. on the 2018 season of The Bachelor. However, their engagement took an unexpected turn when he decided to reunite with his now-wife, Lauren Burnham. Overcome with emotion, Becca tearfully shared her heartbreak on camera. Despite this setback, Becca was given the opportunity to lead the subsequent season of The Bachelorette. It was during this time that she crossed paths with Garrett Yrigoyen, with whom she shared a two-year journey before their engagement was called off. Eventually, Becca found herself on the sandy shores of Bachelor in Paradise, where she formed a connection with Thomas, a participant from Katie Thurston's season of The Bachelorette.

In June 2022, Becca expressed exclusively to We that Thomas is a truly adventurous, fun, and easygoing man. However, what sets this relationship apart is the alignment of their values and morals. They have discussed their future marriage, having children, and the kind of family dynamic they envision. Thomas is the first person with whom Becca feels completely in sync regarding how they want to raise their kids and the values they want to instill in them.

At the time, she exclaimed, "He's actually the first guy I want to spend my entire life with. I am eager to begin planning the wedding and embark on all the traditional milestones that previously didn't appeal to me."
