Johnny Cage, a Mortal Kombat staple, will also make an appearance with an alternate character skin modeled after the famous action star Jean-Claude Van Damme. With a new gameplay trailer expected to be released during this week's Summer Game Fest, the anticipation for Mortal Kombat 1 continues to grow, leaving room for even more past Kombatants to emerge.
