Hurry Up and Dive Into These 10 PS Plus Extra and Premium Games Before They're Gone Forever!

Time is running out for PS Plus Extra and Premium members to indulge in these 10 captivating games before they bid farewell to the subscription service in July 2023

PlayStation Plus members in the Extra and Premium tiers have a final opportunity to play 10 games that will soon be removed from the service. Sony frequently adds new games to these higher tiers, but certain titles are taken away when the catalog is refreshed.

In June 2023, subscribers of PS Plus Extra and Premium lost access to 16 games, including Agents of Mayhem, Black Mirror, John Wick Hex, Red Faction, and more. Unlike the free monthly PS Plus games available to all members, users in the Extra and Premium tiers cannot play these games once they are no longer in the catalog. There are 10 more games that will soon be removed from PS Plus Extra and Premium, but interested users have one final opportunity to try them out.

10 games are set to be removed from PS Plus Extra and Premium on July 18, giving fans an additional day to enjoy them before they are taken down. The lineup comprises of Stray, Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, Fluster Cluck, Marvel’s Avengers, Raiden 5: Director’s Cut, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, Rogue Stormers, as well as the remastered editions of BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite. It is worth noting that some of these games will no longer be available in the PS Plus Extra category, while others will be departing from the Premium section.

Renowned titles such as BioShock and Borderlands are being removed from the PS Plus Extra and Premium subscription this month, including the well-received game, Stray. However, the silver lining is that Stray is relatively short, allowing players to complete it in approximately five hours, while a complete playthrough will take around eight hours. Although there might not be sufficient time for fans to finish some of the lengthier games, members still have a window of opportunity to experience them.

On July 18, Sony will update the lineup for PS Plus Extra and Premium users, granting them access to a variety of new games. Joining PS Plus Extra in July 2023 are titles such as It Takes Two, Sniper Elite 5, Undertale, World War Z, The Ascent, and more. Premium subscribers will also have access to Gravity Crash Portable, Twisted Metal, and Twisted Metal 2.

It's important for players to be aware that the file sizes for these PS Plus Extra games have been disclosed, and some of them require a considerable amount of storage space. For instance, the PS5 version of Sniper Elite 5 alone takes up a total of 91.471 GB, while It Takes Two necessitates 45.459 GB of available space.
