The actor has just completed a physical exercise in the video, playfully imitating sounds of discomfort to the camera. If the majority of the rumors surrounding Deadpool 3 are indeed accurate, the storyline will require Jackman to be in peak physical condition for his reprisal of the character Wolverine.

The recently concluded Writers Guild of America strike, which lasted for 148 days, and the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike have had a significant impact on several Marvel Studios projects. As the first of the upcoming MCU movies scheduled for release on May 3, 2024, Deadpool 3 is currently at high risk of facing delays. This would occur if the negotiations between SAG-AFTRA and the AMPTP, which have just resumed, were to fail.

Given the WGA's recent productive deal, it is highly probable that the SAG-AFTRA will experience a similar outcome, resulting in the ongoing strike being resolved soon. Should this occur, Deadpool 3 is expected to maintain its release date of May 2024. According to director Shawn Levy, Deadpool 3 was halfway through filming when the SAG-AFTRA strike forced a pause.

Since filming for Deadpool 3 commenced in May and was temporarily halted in July, if the movie were to resume production this month (October), Levy's statement suggests that filming could be completed by December. Although this would leave a relatively tight schedule up until its release, the immense excitement surrounding Deadpool 3's debut, combined with the absence of any prior Marvel movies set for release, indicates that the studio will make every effort to ensure a swift preparation for Deadpool 3.
