In Assassin's Creed Mirage, players are provided with various resources to enhance Basim's assassin skills. Initially, gamers have access to only the Hidden Blade, Sword, and Throwing Knives. However, as the main story progresses, players can obtain additional tools for more advanced assassinations.

This guide centers around the Blowdart, a versatile tool suitable for multiple scenarios. For players grappling with the decision of which tools to unlock first in Assassin's Creed Mirage, this article offers insights into whether the Blowdart is the ideal weapon for their gameplay.

How to Unlock the Blowdart

During the initial hours of Assassin's Creed Mirage, players will be restricted to using Throwing Knives as their sole tool. Unlocking additional tools becomes an option only after Basim completes his first major assassination gig during the First Order mission.

Once Al-Ghul is taken down, gamers will proceed to the My Old Home mission, a relatively short one. This mission will subsequently unlock two main story missions: Nehal's Calling and Branching Out. It is recommended that players begin the Branching Out mission, even if they are more interested in Nehal's Calling. This mission simply involves talking to Roshan and will then grant them the opportunity to unlock new tools.

Blowdart Upgrades

Following his conversation with Roshan at the hideout, Basim will be presented with a unique opportunity by Abu Jafar Muhammad to acquire a new tool. Unlike skill points, once a tool is chosen, players will be unable to alter this decision. At this juncture, gamers can decide to unlock the Blowdart. Should they prefer a different tool, they must then advance through the Trickster skill tree in order to expand their tool capacity.

Players can upgrade their tools by talking to Abu Jafar Muhammad. Here are the upgrades that they can unlock as they progress in Assassin's Creed Mirage:

Tier 1

Extra Capacity: Increases the ammunition capacity for this tool by two.

How to Use the Blowdart

The Blowdart operates similarly to the Throwing Knives, requiring players to access their Tool Wheel to equip it. Once equipped, all that's needed is to aim and shoot at an enemy to incapacitate them.

In cases where players haven't enhanced their tool or chosen toxic or deadly modifications, the target will merely fall into slumber for a specific duration.

The screen will display a blue timer wheel, indicating the remaining duration of their sleep. However, if another guard becomes aware of the situation, they will be awakened. Interestingly, this serves as an effective diversion.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
