Lord of the Rings - Return To Moria: How to Increase Inventory Space

Venturing into The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria entails embarking on a journey through a vast realm filled with peril and mystery. In order to vanquish the formidable foes lurking in the Depths of Moria, players must engage in thorough exploration, resource acquisition, and equipment enhancement. Although the initial Scout Pack offers a modest capacity of 10 item slots, it may prove to be insufficient as players strive to bolster their gear and fortify their base. Hence, the acquisition of a more capacious backpack becomes crucial for those seeking to excel in their endeavors.

To enhance the capacity of their inventory, players require the acquisition of a superior backpack known as the Adventurer's Pack. This remarkable backpack offers an additional 25 inventory slots, significantly facilitating the collection of resources for crafting. As a result, players will experience less frequent instances of their inventory reaching maximum capacity.

Unlock the Workbench

To acquire this backpack, progress through the main storyline until you unlock the workbench. Then, gather elven wood by cutting it down. The workbench grants players the ability to craft various equipment, including hats, bows, and backpacks.

To craft an Adventurer's Pack, you will require the following materials:

8 Hide.

Hide is a fairly rare resource in Return To Moria. There are two ways to get it: one for new players and one for late game.

How to Get Hide

One simple and uncomplicated method is to engage in hunting animals. At the commencement of the game, animals serve as the primary source of Hide, and there is a vast abundance of them in the Elven region. Each animal typically yields 1-2 Hide, thereby requiring only a short duration to gather sufficient quantities for a backpack.

Progressing through the story to the Crystal Descent location is necessary for the second method, which is slightly more complex. Upon reaching the bottom of the Descent, players will gain access to a Loom that enables them to combine Hide Scraps and create Hides. Since Hide Scraps are more abundant, this approach significantly simplifies the process of farming Hide.

By utilizing any of the aforementioned methods, gathering enough Hide to craft an Adventurer's Pack becomes a hassle-free task. The pack not only expands inventory space but also alleviates concerns about insufficient space while gathering materials.

Lord of the Rings: Return To Moria is available on PC. The PS5 version launches on December 5. The Xbox Series X and S version is coming in early 2024.
