Climbing the battlements of The High Keep

The High Keep quest in Hogwarts Legacy is assigned by Natty, one of your classmates. This quest becomes accessible during the "Prepare For Your Search For The Final Keeper" chapter, which takes place in the autumn season of the campaign. To begin the quest, track it and make your way to the designated location northeast of Hogsmeade.

Your first task in Hogwarts Legacy's The High Keep mission is to climb the battlements. Here's the gist:

Destroy the wooden barricade and push the device with Depulso.

Next, apply the spell Wingardium Leviosa to the crate and position it beneath the dilapidated part of the battlements wall. Focus on the crate and use the Levioso spell, enabling you to ascend onto it and access the ledge.

To keep the crate afloat, move it and use Levioso. After that, proceed to the gatehouse by following these steps:

1. Destroy the wooden barricade.

2. Target the block that is blocking your path.

3. Continuously spam Depulso on the block to push it further away.

4. This will create an opening that you can crawl through.

In the gatehouse, cast Depulso on the device repeatedly to fully raise the gate.

Once you see the handle, immediately cast Accio to pull it.

To initiate the rotation of the device, employ Depulso, and subsequently grasp the handle with Accio. An ensuing cutscene shall be witnessed, wherein you and Natty observe with alarm as Highwing falls victim to poachers.

Persist in ascending the ramparts until an alcove revealing a crate materializes before you. Deploy Depulso to propel it downwards through the aperture.

Head to the open area off to the side. Cast Wingardium Leviosa to place the crate in the gap.

Use Levioso to lift it higher. This lets you jump across the gap.

Following the same procedure as before, you will relocate the crate and use Levioso to keep it suspended in mid-air. As you approach the ramparts, you will come across several adversaries. You have the option to engage them head-on with your wands or attempt a stealthy approach. If you opt for the latter, you can activate stealth mode by casting Disillusionment. Afterwards, employ Depulso on an enemy who is near the edge to force them into a perilous fall.

If other opponents become aware of your presence but you are still concealed by stealth, you can maneuver to the side. While staying low and concealed, cautiously sneak up from behind and swiftly neutralize them with Petrificus Totalus.

At the conclusion of this section, a pair of assassins will surprise you, lying in wait. Given their likely positioning on the battlements, you can also resort to utilizing Depulso to forcefully push them over the edge.

You have the option to either stealthily eliminate your adversaries or forcefully propel them off the precipice. Upon entering the tower, your attention will be drawn to a door secured with a level 2 lock. Assuming you have upgraded Alohomora through the acquisition of Demiguise Moons, you should possess the ability to unlock the door. Once inside, you will come across Puffskeins and Nifflers. Safely transport them to your Vivarium by using the Nab-Sack.

Several adorable creatures have been ensnared by hunters. Use your Nab-Sack to capture them and set them free in the Vivarium. At last, upon reaching the pinnacle of the tower, your character will liberate Highwing. This triggers a cutscene where you and Natty make a daring escape and embark on a remarkable journey across the countryside, soaring on the backs of Hippogriffs.

After completing The High Keep quest in Hogwarts Legacy, you will gain access to the Hippogriff as a flying mount. In addition, there are several other animal mounts available in the game, including the Thestral, which can be obtained by owning the Dark Arts Pack.
