Hannah Ferrier is still having the last laugh years after her departure from Below Deck Mediterranean.
The 36-year-old former reality star, responded to an Instagram clip featuring second stew Kyle Viljoen's appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Monday, October 16. In the video, uploaded by a fan account of Below Deck, Kyle, 31, along with fellow stew Jessika Asai, discussed their challenges in the yachting industry. Kyle also hinted that Captain Sandy will lash out at a guest in an upcoming episode. "Augh. I understand why you try to replace me every season," Hannah replied in the comments section, clearly unimpressed by the stories shared by Kyle and Jessika.
Hannah had the longest tenure as chief stew on Below Deck Mediterranean, with five seasons. Kate Chastain matched that with six seasons on Below Deck. As for Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Daisy Kelliher has been their trusted chief stew for three seasons. Aesha Scott has appeared on both seasons of Below Deck Down Under, completing the franchise. Hannah has openly discussed the impact of her strained working relationship with Sandy, 59, which ultimately led to her departure. They began working together in 2017 and consistently clashed.

During the filming of season 5 in 2020, bosun Malia White raised concerns about Hannah having Valium and a CBD vape pen in her cabin. As a result, Hannah was dismissed from her role on the boat, despite asserting that she possessed a valid prescription for the anti-anxiety medication.
Sandy justified her choice to terminate Hannah, stating, "When trust is compromised for me as a captain, I cannot take anyone out to sea. Over the years, there have been instances with the crew that have threatened my license."
Hannah, on the other hand, claimed that Sandy was never a strong supporter of hers.
During an episode of the "Kyle & Jackie O Show" podcast in January 2022, she alleged, "The editing process could have portrayed us as being closer than we actually were during the previous years we filmed together. In reality, we weren't friendly at all. Each season, we would have discussions with the production team to figure out how we could create a working environment where we could coexist."
Hannah disclosed that the reason for the negative judgment against her was a result of the show she had previously seen before appearing. Within the first 45 seconds of their introduction, production had to intervene and caution Sandy against her behavior towards Hannah. Despite this, Sandy recently expressed her willingness to collaborate with Hannah again. During a game on WWHL, she declared her readiness to work with all chief stews, including Hannah.

Hannah shared an article about the comment and conducted a poll among her followers, asking them if she should return. The poll results were overwhelmingly in favor of her comeback. You can catch Below Deck Mediterranean on Bravo every Monday at 9 p.m. ET.
