The release of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 245 is imminent and fans are anticipating a potential major revelation. In the previous chapter, Yuji Itadori and Hiromi Higuruma joined forces to confront Ryomen Sukuna on the battlefield. Meanwhile, the other Jujutsu sorcerers devised a strategy to defeat the resurrected Demon King, culminating in Higuruma using his Domain Expansion to engage Sukuna in a rematch with Yuji.
However, spoilers for the upcoming chapter indicate a theory about Hakari's potential success where Gojo failed. Gojo's shocking elimination by Sukuna has left a significant void, but there is optimism that Hakari's character may offer a glimmer of hope for the sorcerers.

Theorists analyzing Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 245 have proposed a theory on how Hakari can learn from Gojo's past mistake. The key difference between Kinji Hakari and Gojo Satoru is their emotional detachment, which affects their decision-making. The recent events have confirmed that Suguru Geto was Gojo's only friend, with their deep friendship being revealed in the Past Arc. However, this friendship ultimately had negative consequences for the Blue-Eyed Sorcerer.
At the conclusion of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, instead of disposing of Geto's body, Gojo decided to have it stored. Unfortunately, it was later stolen and utilized by Kenjaku as his new vessel. This triggered a chain reaction that led to the Shibuya Incident and the subsequent sealing of Gojo Satoru.
During the Shibuya Incident on October 31, Gojo fell into Kenjaku's trap to seal him. After fighting off a horde of Curses and rescuing trapped civilians, his recovery was halted by the sound of a familiar voice. Kenjaku's unexpected appearance in Geto's body overwhelmed Gojo, as he was faced with the sight of his best friend.
At the same time, the Prison Realm was activated and only needed one minute to seal Gojo. Exploiting Gojo's emotions and predicting the impact it would have, Kenjaku posed as Geto before revealing his true identity. As a result, the plan to seal Gojo was successful one minute later.
These instances illustrate how Gojo's behavior is driven by his emotions. Despite his stoic facade, his heart remained tender. This aloofness, if he had it, would have resulted in a very different outcome.
Kinji Hakari, on the other hand, appears to possess this unique quality, which Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 245 will explore. Alongside the other sorcerers, he engages in the battle to keep Sukuna isolated from Yuji and Higuruma. Hakari is set to face Uraume in what is anticipated to be a significant generational battle.
Based on Hakari's demonstrated traits, he is among the few individuals whose logical thinking can be relied upon. Each decision he makes, no matter how impulsive it may seem at first, is backed by a carefully considered rationale.
In simpler terms, he is able to separate his emotions from his decision-making process, even in difficult situations. If he had switched places with Gojo, there is a good chance he would not have been sealed because his emotional detachment would have allowed him to see through the trap and take action to counter it, something that Gojo was unable to do.
Final thoughts
Once again, this state of seclusion will enable him to rationally contemplate his next steps. In reality, facing a fully unleashed Sukuna, the sorcerers have very little hope. Nevertheless, having Hakari on their side undoubtedly improves their chances of success. He is someone who can be relied upon to make the right decision, regardless of his personal feelings about it.

The theory presented in chapter 245 of Jujutsu Kaisen may hold the key to finally defeating Sukuna. With everything at stake, all the sorcerers have joined the battle. They now face the daunting challenge of confronting the Demon King head-on.
With Hakari as a trump card, the odds don't seem as bleak. His self-centered, moody, and aloof attitude could be the factor that keeps him from ending up like Gojo. Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 245 will be released on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 12 a.m. JST in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump issue 3.
Editor's P/S
As a hard fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I am thrilled to see Hakari's potential triumph over Gojo's past failure in chapter 245. The theory that Hakari's emotional detachment may be the key to defeating Sukuna is intriguing and well-supported by the events of the previous chapters. Gojo's downfall was ultimately caused by his deep friendship with Suguru Geto, which clouded his judgment and allowed Kenjaku to exploit his emotions. In contrast, Hakari seems to be able to separate his emotions from his decision-making process, making him a more formidable opponent for Sukuna.
I am also excited to see how Hakari's battle with Uraume unfolds. Uraume is a powerful and experienced sorcerer, and their generational battle is sure to be intense. However, I believe that Hakari's logical thinking and emotional detachment will give him the edge he needs to emerge victorious. With Hakari on their side, the sorcerers have a better chance of defeating Sukuna and saving the world.
