Gypsy Rose Blanchard recently got tattoos with her ex-fiancé Ken Urker shortly after announcing her split from husband Ryan Scott Anderson. Urker’s mother, Raina Williams, confirmed in an interview with People on Tuesday, April 2, that Gypsy and her son had gotten back together.

Williams clarified that they are not back together, emphasizing that they are just good friends. Ken is simply being supportive towards her.

Additionally, Williams mentioned that Urker and Gypsy had lunch together before going to the tattoo shop, which happens to be owned by Gypsy's cousin, Bobby Pitre.

Williams shared with People that he believes Gypsy is a kind-hearted girl who is learning from her past mistakes. He cares deeply for her and hopes for positive things in her future.

Regarding their relationship, Williams mentioned that there are currently no romantic intentions between Gypsy and Urker.

Williams and Urker first heard about Gypsy’s story while watching the documentary Mommy Dead and Dearest. Urker reached out to Gypsy with a letter in 2018 when she was in prison. They got engaged that year, as shared by Gypsy in an interview with E! News in 2019, but their relationship eventually ended while Gypsy was still incarcerated.

After their split, Gypsy found love again with Anderson, whom she married in 2022. Recently, she announced their separation on Facebook.

Multiple publications reported that she wrote, "People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation, and I moved in with my parents’ home down the bayou. I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now, I need time to let myself find … who I am."

Gypsy, who was released from prison in December 2023, had served seven years for the murder of her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. Dee Dee was found dead at age 48 in her Missouri home with multiple stab wounds.

Gypsy was arrested in 2015 with her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn. She admitted to second-degree murder the next year and received a 10-year prison sentence. In September 2023, she was granted parole and released.

Dee Dee was accused of mistreating her daughter, making Gypsy and the public think she had various medical problems like leukemia, muscular dystrophy, brain damage, and seizures. It was suspected that Dee Dee had Munchausen syndrome by proxy, a mental disorder where a caregiver seeks attention by exaggerating or causing illness in those under their care.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard's story has captivated and disturbed the public for years, and the latest news of her tattoos with ex-fiancé Ken Urker raises further questions about her life after prison. While Urker's mother insists they are just friends and he is supporting her, it is hard to ignore the history between the pair and the potential impact this could have on her recovery and well-being.

It is encouraging to hear that Gypsy has the support of her family, especially given her traumatic past and the recent separation from her husband. However, it is important to remember the allegations against her mother and the manipulative nature of Munchausen syndrome by proxy. Only time will tell if Gypsy is truly free from her mother's influence and able to forge healthy relationships and a fulfilling life for herself.
