Celtic have officially confirmed the arrival of defender Gustaf Lagerbielke from Elfsborg. The 23-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the club, joining them in a deal worth approximately £3m. This move comes in the wake of fellow Swedish defender Carl Starfelt's departure to LaLiga club Celta Vigo.
After sealing his move to the Scottish Premiership champions, Lagerbielke expressed his excitement and pride to be at Celtic Park, where he will proudly don the No 4 jersey. Having made 16 appearances in the Swedish league this season, he also earned his first international cap in January during a friendly victory against Iceland.
