At BravoCon, Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi openly expressed her interest in Mauricio Umansky despite his current marital issues. The 41-year-old star of Shahs of Sunset admits, "I wouldn't object to going on a date with Mauricio. I just thought I'd let it be known. Yeah, he's attractive."
Gharachedaghi was previously wed to businessman Shalom Yeroushalmi for a year, but they ended their union in 2018. Currently, she is a single mother to her son, Elijah Javad, whom she gave birth to in 2020.
In July, it was confirmed by Us that Umansky, 53, and Kyle Richards had separated after being married for 27 years. The Bravolebrities subsequently released a joint statement acknowledging that they have experienced a challenging year. (Umansky and Richards, 54, have daughters named Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15 together. Additionally, Umansky is the stepfather to Richards' daughter Farrah, 35, whom she shares with her ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie.)
Umansky recently garnered attention when photographs surfaced of him and his Dancing With the Stars partner, Emma Slater, holding hands. Following the circulation of these images, both individuals dismissed speculation of a romantic relationship. Last month, an undisclosed source informed Us that Umansky and Richards were experiencing discord as a result of the aforementioned handholding incident.
Reza Farahan expressed his astonishment regarding Umansky's separation from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, emphasizing his surprise during BravoCon.
"That's absolutely shocking," exclaimed Farahan, aged 50. Mercedes "MJ" Javid chimed in, expressing her uncertainty about the split between the pair.
In a previous instance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Farahan labeled Richards as "the most overrated housewife." Regarding their current relationship, he informed Us at BravoCon that they encountered each other in Las Vegas and have moved beyond the conflict.
We caught sight of each other and I approached her to say hello. She responded with "Truce," to which I replied, "Of course." We then embraced and it felt like one of those petty moments you have when you're at Watch What Happens Live. It wasn't a serious threat like wanting to harm her. At the time, Farahan clarified that his comment was partly driven by his desire for Lisa Vanderpump to come back to RHOBH. (Vanderpump, 63, left the show during season 9 on bad terms with Richards.)
Richards retaliated against Farahan's WWHL comment on social media following the episode. In response to a post on a fan account, Richards remarked, "Didn't his show get canceled? And wasn't he the initial cast member voted off the Traitors? I'm not even offended."
