Steam is currently offering six free games which cover a wide range of genres, providing gamers with the opportunity to find a game that caters to their preferences. Unlike the recent free game promotions, such as Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War and TGC Voyages Train Simulator, which were part of Steam's giveaways, these six games are fully-featured and can be played without cost.
Fragment 2: For those who enjoy side-scrolling flight shooters, there’s Eventide, which draws inspiration from the arcade shooters of the 1980s and 1990s. On the other hand, Galactic Glitch offers an action-packed Roguelike experience set in a vast procedurally generated galaxy, akin to an open-world Geometry Wars. Both games offer unique gameplay and challenges for players to enjoy.
These games may not have been part of a specific promotion, but they contribute to the expanding collection of free games offered by Steam as the summer season begins and school comes to a close. Recently, Tell Me Why and Hue were both available for free, developed by Don't Nod Entertainment and a puzzle adventure game, respectively. These games can be kept forever, but only if claimed before June 8.
