Numskull Designs has teamed up with Konami to produce miniature replicas of the popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade machines. These collectibles include two classic beat-em-up games based on the beloved cartoon series and are sure to impress TMNT fans with their small yet detailed design. However, the franchise is not just focusing on nostalgia. A new game based on the graphic novel The Last Ronin is currently in development, drawing inspiration from God of War and taking a darker, more mature tone than previous titles. Despite this shift, there is still something for every fan to enjoy, including the colorful and upbeat beat-em-up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge and the classic arcade game from 1989. Konami's latest collaboration celebrates the brand's golden era of gaming.
Konami and Numskull Designs have collaborated to produce miniature collectible replicas of the classic arcade cabinets for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and its sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. These quarter-scaled cabinets come equipped with a six-inch TFT screen, complete with a CRT lens, providing gamers with a truly authentic experience. For those who are die-hard fans of the classic TMNT titles, there is a limited edition of the arcade cabinets available that will surely satisfy their cravings. These exclusive models, which have been signed by TMNT's co-creator Kevin Eastman, come with a quarter-scaled stool, a certificate of authenticity, and an exclusive postcard in addition to the arcade cabinet. While the standard model is priced at $299.99, the limited edition will cost $399.99. The release of these arcade cabinets, along with the Nintendo Switch port Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Cowabunga Collection, provides an opportunity for fans to indulge in a nostalgic trip back to the beloved ‘90s classic titles. Whether it's saving quarters or fighting as the teen turtles in New York City's sewers to rescue April O'Neil from the villainous Shredder, there's something for every TMNT fan to look forward to in 2023.
