Bethesda has officially unveiled a range of Starfield-themed accessories, including a controller, headset, and limited-edition watch, which are now available for purchase. This announcement was made during the Starfield Direct event, which also featured the confirmation of the game's first post-launch DLC, a new gameplay trailer, and further details about the highly anticipated space-faring RPG. Despite being a poorly kept secret, with leaks surfacing throughout the spring, the release of these accessories is sure to excite fans eagerly anticipating the game's launch.
The LPV6 Chronomark Watch, a highly sought-after item by Starfield collectors, was leaked alongside its user manual in early 2022. It has been confirmed that the watch will only be available within the Constellation Edition bundle, priced at $299.99. This bundle includes a watch case, a patch featuring the logo of the game's Constellation faction, and a steelbook display case with no physical game copy. Notably, the collector's edition of Starfield will only come with a download code instead of a physical copy. Additionally, the Starfield controller and headset can be purchased separately from Microsoft, priced at $79.99 and $124.99, respectively.
Where to Buy Starfield Controller, Headset, and Constellation Edition Watch
The LPV6 Chronomark Watch is designed to closely resemble the wristwatch that players will use in Starfield. However, it is important to note that while the watch does have some basic smartwatch features, such as notification relay from a connected smartphone, it does not have a touch screen, cellular capabilities, or the ability to make phone calls. It should be noted that the "LPV6" in its name does not indicate any level of water or dust resistance.
The LPV6 Chronomark Watch is crafted by The Wand Company, a well-known British manufacturer renowned for their exceptional prop creations like the Poke Balls and Star Trek communicators. This instills confidence in the timepiece's build quality. While it may not have any practical value beyond being a collectible, the Constellation Edition of Starfield is highly anticipated and it is unlikely that Bethesda will have any trouble selling out.
The limited-edition Starfield headset and controller have also been unveiled, but there is currently no indication that either product will go out of stock anytime soon. These items seem to be variations of existing Xbox accessories with a new design, so Microsoft will likely continue to sell them for as long as they see fit.
