Echo, the first-ever MCU TV show to premiere on both Hulu and Disney+, will debut with all five episodes of the season available to watch on January 10. The official trailer for Echo has also been released, highlighting the complex relationship between Maya Lopez (portrayed by Alaqua Cox) and Wilson Fisk (played by Vincent D'Onofrio). This spinoff of Hawkeye delves further into their connection. The trailer also showcases intense violence and gore, making it the first Disney+ MCU show to be given a TV-MA rating.
In addition to Cox and D'Onofrio, the Echo cast features Chaske Spencer (The English), Graham Greene (1883), Tantoo Cardinal (Killers of the Flower Moon), Devery Jacobs (Reservation Dogs), and Zahn McClarnon (Reservation Dogs). Sydney Freeland (Navajo) and Catriona McKenzie (Gunaikurnai) direct the five episodes of the series.
Echo, which was originally scheduled to follow Loki: Season 2 and premiere in late November, faced a delay in September. Marvel reportedly decided to allow each series enough time to have its own space.
Production on the show commenced last year, and in May 2022, Marvel unveiled the first glimpse of Echo. The series is accompanied by the tagline: "No bad action goes without consequences." It should be noted that the series will exclusively be streamed on Hulu until April 9.
Regarding the remainder of the MCU, Loki concludes this week, while The Marvels hits theaters on November 10.

Marvel's Echo is a highly anticipated series that is set to premiere on Disney Plus and Hulu on January 10th. The show will consist of five episodes and will delve into the complex relationship between Maya Lopez and Wilson Fisk. The trailer for the series has already been released and it showcases intense violence and gore, making it the first Disney+ MCU show to be given a TV-MA rating.
I am excited to see this new series and I think it will be a great addition to the MCU. I am a big fan of Alaqua Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio, so I am looking forward to seeing them reprise their roles as Maya Lopez and Wilson Fisk. I am also interested in seeing how the series will explore the relationship between these two characters. The trailer hints at a lot of tension and conflict between them, so I am eager to see how that plays out.
