George Clooney Teases Exciting New Script for Another Ocean's 11 Movie

Clooney was referring to the 1979 film Going In Style, featuring George Burns and Art Carney. Burns was 79 years old when he starred in the movie, and Clooney humorously noted, "We're not as old as that yet."

Zac Braff directed a remake of Going In Style in 2017, featuring Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, and Alan Arkin. Steven Soderbergh, director of Ocean's 11, has expressed interest in another installment of the series, suggesting that plans for a new film may be in the works.

The 1960 movie Ocean's 11, featuring Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin, was followed by a reboot in 2001 starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, and others. This was followed by sequels Ocean's 12 and Ocean's 13. Ocean's 8, released in 2018, told the story of Danny Ocean's sister Debbie, played by Sandra Bullock, with a star-studded cast including Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, and others.

It hasn't been confirmed yet whether another entry in the mainline series is coming, but what has been confirmed is that a prequel starring Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie as Danny Ocean's parents is in the works.
