Sony has officially announced the extensive lineup of PS Plus Extra and Premium titles joining the service on August 15 and beyond. Among these titles are two day-one games for PS Plus: Sea of Stars, set to release on August 29, and Moving Out 2, which will be available on August 15.
A quick glance at this PS Plus list reveals the diverse selection for the month. There are kid-friendly games such as PJ Masks and Hotel Transylvania, as well as more immersive titles like Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, representing a wide range of genres. With some users potentially feeling disappointed with the PS Plus free games for August 2023, which include Death's Door, Dreams, and PGA Tour 2K23, this lineup offers a great option to complete the month.

Sea of Stars and Moving Out 2 bring excitement to PS Plus as day one additions. Sea of Stars, a retro-style tactical RPG, adds to the extensive list of TRPGs released this year. Meanwhile, Moving Out 2 enhances the original co-op moving game with more fun and frenetic gameplay. Although PS Plus may not offer day one games as frequently as Xbox Game Pass, its selection remains hard to contest.
This month, fans can enjoy a total of 20 games across PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium catalogs. There's a high probability of finding something to their liking. However, if not, they can eagerly anticipate the arrival of just as many games in September, further demonstrating the greatness of the service.
PS Plus subscribers get a handful of games every month.
