Suits garnered a loyal following upon its initial release, but its arrival on Netflix has catapulted the legal drama to new heights of popularity. Spanning from 2011 to 2019, the USA series captivated viewers with Patrick J. Adams' portrayal of Mike Ross, a college dropout who managed to secure a job at a prestigious New York City law firm, despite never having passed the LSAT.
Adams' character is hired to join Harvey Specter, played by Gabriel Macht, but keeps his non-accredited lawyer status a secret. Together, Adams and Macht's characters must conceal this truth from their colleagues, including Meghan Markle, Rich Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty, Gina Torres, and others.
The spinoff series, titled "Pearson," centers around Jessica Pearson, portrayed by Gina Torres, and was ordered and aired after the completion of Suits. Pearson explores her journey into the world of politics in Chicago and ran for one season.

‘Suits’ Cast: Where Are They Now?
Suits gained a loyal following upon its initial release — however, its arrival on Netflix has elevated the popularity of this legal drama.
The original run of this USA series spanned nine seasons, from 2011 to 2019. It features Patrick J. Adams as Mike Ross, a college dropout who managed to secure a job at a New York City law firm despite never passing the LSAT.
Adams' character is hired to work alongside Harvey Specter, played by Gabriel Macht, but conceals the fact that he is not a licensed lawyer. Both characters must keep their secret hidden from their colleagues, portrayed by Meghan Markle, Rich Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty, Gina Torres, and others.
The popularity of Suits led to the creation of a spinoff series centered around Gina Torres' character, Jessica Pearson. Titled "Pearson," the show followed her journey into the world of politics in Chicago and aired for one season after the series finale.

Gabriel Macht (Harvey Specter)
After Suits ended, Macht made a guest appearance in one episode of the short-lived spinoff series. On a personal note, Macht tied the knot with actress Jacinda Barrett in 2004, and together they have two children. Maintaining a close friendship, Macht also attended his former costar Markle's wedding to Prince Harry.

Patrick J. Adams (Michael Ross)
Adams received a nomination for a SAG award for his portrayal on the legal series. He played a significant role in the series for seven seasons and briefly returned for its ninth and final season. Following that, Adams secured roles in various films such as Room for Rent in 2017, Clara in 2018, and the upcoming 2022 reboot of A League of Our Own, among others. Additionally, he appeared in the Tony award-winning revival of Broadway's Take Me Out in 2022.
In December 2016, Adams wed Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario. The couple share two daughters. Adams and Bellisario also attended Markle’s nuptials.

Rick Hoffman (Louis Litt)
Hoffman portrayed Harvey's adversary-turned-comrade in the show. Following the conclusion of the series, he secured a recurring part in Showtime's Billions. In addition, Hoffman is the proud parent of a child, whom he shares with an ex-partner from a previous romance.

Meghan Markle (Rachel Zane)
Markle portrayed Rachel, a paralegal at the firm who harbored her own aspirations in the legal field. Alongside her work on the series, Markle managed a lifestyle blog called The Tig and actively supported various charitable organizations focused on women's issues and social justice.
In 2018, Markle retired from acting upon her marriage to Prince Harry and assumed the title of the Duchess of Sussex. The couple, proud parents to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, made the decision to step away from their duties as working members of the royal family in 2020 and established themselves in California. Since their departure from royal duties, the Duke and Duchess have embarked on numerous endeavors, including impactful non-profit initiatives, a podcast that has since been discontinued, and a documentary series with Netflix.

Sarah Rafferty (Donna Paulsen)
Rafferty portrayed Donna, the efficient secretary and trusted confidant of Harvey. She later secured recurring roles in the renowned medical dramas Grey’s Anatomy and Chicago Med. In June 2001, Rafferty entered matrimonial bliss with her spouse Aleksanteri Olli-Pekka Seppälä, together nurturing their two daughters named Oona Gray and Iris Friday. Moreover, Rafferty attended Markle’s wedding ceremony, further emphasizing their bond and camaraderie.

Gina Torres (Jessica Pearson)
During her tenure on the series, Torres garnered immense praise as a core cast member for the initial six seasons, subsequently transitioning into a recurring character for the seventh. Following her brief stint in the spinoff, Torres then secured a prominent role in 9-1-1: Lone Star.
Torres was married to Laurence Fishburne from 2002 to 2017. The twosome share a daughter.

Amanda Schull (Katrina Amanda Bennett)
Schull joined the firm in the second season of Suits as an associate. Throughout seasons 2 to 7, she made regular appearances as a recurring character and later gained prominence as a main character in the final two seasons. In 2023, she secured a recurring role in 9-1-1: Lone Star. Schull and her husband, George Wilson, joyfully welcomed their daughter into the world in 2020.

Dule Hill (Alex Williams)
Hill came aboard the show in its seventh season, portraying Harvey's close friend and coworker. In the last two seasons, he took on a central role as a partner at the law firm. After his stint on Suits, Hill secured a part in the 2021 revival of The Wonder Years.
From 2004 to 2012, Hill was married to Nicole Lyn. Subsequently, he formed a relationship with his Ballers co-star Jazmyn Simon, whom he tied the knot with in 2018. The couple now has a son together, and Hill has also embraced Simon's daughter from a previous relationship through adoption.

Katherine Heigl (Samantha Wheeler)
Heigl became a member of the cast during season 8 and held a significant role until the conclusion of the series the following year. Following the conclusion of the show, Heigl went on to not only act in, but also produce the television series Firefly Lane, which aired from 2021 until 2023. Heigl has been happily married to Josh Kelley since 2007 and together they have three children: two daughters named Naleigh and Adalaide, as well as a son named Joshua.
