Bridgerton actress Nicola Coughlan recently traded the Ton for some fun at a unique costume party inspired by Vanderpump Rules. The event took place amidst the fallout of Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss' scandalous affair. Coughlan shared her excitement on Instagram, quoting Lisa Vanderpump and expressing gratitude towards her friends who went above and beyond to bring her dream Bravo party to reality. She affectionately declared her love for them, comparing it to LVP's love for Ken.
Content: The actress from Ireland, known for her role as Penelope Featherington in the popular Netflix regency series, attended the event looking exquisite in a pink ensemble reminiscent of Vanderpump's style. Coughlan made a stunning statement with a Barbie-themed wrap dress, an impressive sapphire ring, and a wig in a rich brunette shade. In a nod to the reality TV icon's love for Pomeranians, Coughlan held onto a small plush toy Pomeranian, similar to Vanderpump's beloved pet Giggy.
Coughlan's friends also joined in on the fun, donning costumes inspired by various cast members of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," including Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney, Scheana Shay, Leviss, and Jax Taylor.
"I was shocked to see @ArianaMadix at my party," Coughlan playfully shared on Instagram Story, accompanied by a photo of his friend Robert Gilbert sporting a blonde wig and a 1-800-Boys-Lie hoodie, reminiscent of Madix's attire at the season 10 reunion in March. Gilbert and another guest, Emma Higginbottom, paid tribute to Madix and Maloney's forthcoming restaurant, Something About Her, by serving sandwiches at the event. Joining in on the fun, Coughlan's Derry Girls co-star, Louisa Harland, who portrayed Orla alongside Coughlan's Clare, dressed as Leviss and wore a homemade TomTom hoodie, similar to the one worn by the beauty queen at BravoCon in October 2022 during her involvement with Sandoval.
The party's decorations also cleverly referenced Vanderpump Rules. This included a printed image of a worm with a fake mustache, inspired by James Kennedy's insult to Sandoval during the season 10 reunion in May. Attendees also enjoyed dishes such as "Halloumi I Hate Goats Cheese" balls, "Meema W's Beer Cheese," and the aforementioned "Something About Her" sandwiches. Each dish was accompanied by a printed meme featuring the Bravo star who made it famous.
The party concluded with a dramatic recitation of Erika Jayne's "How Many F—ks," performed by one of Coughlan's friends dressed as Vanderpump's husband, Ken Todd. Coughlan humorously mentioned that it was one of the best moments of her life on her Instagram Story.
The actress playing Barbie in Greta Gerwig's highly anticipated July film is a fan of Vanderpump Rules. Last month, she took to Instagram to express her support for Ariana, following the breakup between Sandoval and Madix due to a cheating scandal.

'Bridgerton’ Star Nicola Coughlan Hosts Epic ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Costume Bash: 'My Dream Bravo Party'
Bridgerton actress Nicola Coughlan recently took a break from her role in the show to enjoy a Vanderpump Rules-inspired costume party. The event came at a time when there was controversy surrounding Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss' affair scandal. Sharing a quote from Lisa Vanderpump on Instagram, Coughlan expressed her gratitude towards her friends who went above and beyond to make her Bravo-themed party a reality. She also humorously mentioned her love for her friends, comparing it to the love Lisa Vanderpump has for her husband, Ken.
The Ireland-born actress, known for her role as Penelope Featherington on the popular regency series on Netflix, went all out in a pink ensemble inspired by Vanderpump, who is 62 years old. Coughlan looked absolutely glamorous in a wrap dress with a Barbiecore aesthetic, adorned with a striking sapphire ring and a wig in a brunette shade. In a further tribute to Vanderpump, Coughlan even carried a small stuffed Pomeranian, reminiscent of Vanderpump's cherished pet Giggy.
Coughlan was not the only one who embraced the theme, as her friends also showed up in costumes inspired by various personalities such as Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney, Scheana Shay, Leviss, 28, and Jax Taylor.
Coughlan jokingly shared on Instagram Story that she was surprised to see @ArianaMadix at her party. In the post, she included a picture of her friend Robert Gilbert wearing a blonde wig and a hoodie similar to the one Madix wore at the season 10 reunion. Gilbert and another guest, Emma Higginbottom, even "catered" the event with sandwiches as a tribute to Madix and Maloney's upcoming eatery, Something About Her.
Coughlan's Derry Girls costar, Louisa Harland, also dressed up for the occasion as Leviss. Harland wore a makeshift TomTom hoodie, reminiscent of the one the beauty queen wore during BravoCon in October 2022 when her affair with Sandoval was revealed.
The party's decorations included clever references to Vanderpump Rules. For example, they had a printout of a worm with a fake mustache, inspired by James Kennedy's insult towards Sandoval during the season 10 reunion in May. The guests enjoyed dishes such as "Halloumi I Hate Goats Cheese" balls, "Meema W's Beer Cheese," and the famous "Something About Her" sandwiches. Each dish came with a printed meme of the Bravo star who made it famous.
To conclude the party, a dramatic reading of RHOBH star Erika Jayne's song "How Many F---s" was performed by one of Coughlan's friends, who was dressed as Vanderpump's husband, Ken Todd. Coughlan humorously called it one of the best moments of her life on her Instagram Story.
The actress playing Barbie in Greta Gerwig's highly anticipated movie releasing in July is a dedicated viewer of Vanderpump Rules. Posting on Instagram last month, Coughlan declared her allegiance to #TeamAriana, alluding to Sandoval and Madix's split following the cheating scandal.
