Dean Unglert proposed a unique idea to his fiancée, Caelynn Miller-Keyes, before their upcoming wedding. During their podcast episode with Jared Haibon titled "Help! We Suck at Being Newlyweds," Unglert suggested that they should go through a process to become "born-again virgins." He expressed curiosity about what steps they would have to take and who they would need to consult with, such as the church, to confirm this.
Unglert expressed his desire for both him and Miller-Keyes to approach their wedding day with a sense of purity. Despite Miller-Keyes not opposing the idea, she acknowledged that the plan was unlikely to happen due to Unglert's lack of enthusiasm for church. "I would still consider it," admitted Unglert, "I think it would be enjoyable to proclaim that we both waited until our wedding night."
While Haibon, 34, listened to the conversation between the two, he grew curious about the duration of abstinence required for the process to become officially recognized. On her end, Miller-Keyes thought that being born-again was a matter of faith and would necessitate several months of prayer.
Haibon proposed that Unglert and Miller-Keyes should start their abstinence the day before their wedding. In the meantime, Unglert pondered if he could obtain an online certificate to speed up the process, much like becoming an ordained minister.

Haibon jokingly remarked that everything one might need can be found on the same website - from ordination services to skiing Groupons, and even certificates for becoming a born-again virgin.
Putting jokes aside, Unglert expressed genuine interest in pursuing the idea and suggested that Miller-Keyes and he should delve into it.
Miller-Keyes and Unglert crossed paths during season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise, which was televised in 2019. Despite experiencing their fair share of conflicts on the show, they departed the beach as a committed couple. Confirming our sources' information, after three years of being together, Unglert proposed to Miller-Keyes in October 2022.
Miller-Keyes and Unglert have openly discussed their wedding plans and the possibility of starting a family since getting engaged. In April, Unglert shared that in the event he couldn't conceive, he would be open to using his brother as a sperm donor. "If I'm unable to have a child, it has always been my intention to consider this option since their DNA is genetically similar to mine," he explained.
Despite Unglert’s worries about potentially being infertile, Miller-Keyes noted that her beau’s sperm was OK and he had gotten it checked out eight years ago.
