Epic Games attempted to unveil the upcoming Fortnite OG key art in a mysterious manner on Tuesday. They posted fragmented images on social media, but before they could complete the tease, a leaker revealed the entire battle pass for the upcoming shortened season.
On Tuesday evening, StreamFNBR and FNBRIntel shared images of the Fortnite OG battle pass, showcasing four included skins. Fortnite OG is anticipated to be a brief season, lasting only a month. According to these leaks, the battle pass will also be condensed, consisting of just 50 levels instead of the usual 100.
Three of the four known skins are actually mashups of existing ones: Lil Split (Lil Whip and Peely), Renegade Lynx (Renegade Raider and Lynx), and Omegarok (Omega and Ragnarok). According to leaked images, the fourth skin, known as Spectra Knight, will be a new Fort Knight and will offer a wide range of color options. The leaked images also provided us with a glimpse of the island map that players will be landing on when Fortnite OG launches on Friday, November 3. This new map seems to be a combination of various seasons from Chapter 1, as it doesn't entirely resemble any previous iteration.
Neither StreamFNBR nor FNBRIntel made any mention of super styles or other bonus rewards. However, it seems that the battle pass does include some of these rewards, as the button for bonus rewards can be seen on the leaked battle pass main page. Unfortunately, we will have to wait to discover the exact details.
Fortnite OG is set to launch on the morning of Friday, November 3. For all the latest information on Fortnite OG, be sure to check out our comprehensive rundown.
Editor's P/S
As a Gen Z fan, I am thrilled about the upcoming Fortnite OG Battle Pass leak, which unveils Chapter 1 skin combinations. The idea of merging fan-favorite classic battle pass skins together is incredibly exciting, as it opens up a world of possibilities for new and unique creations. The leaked images showcasing Lil Split, Renegade Lynx, and Omegarok have already sparked my imagination, and I can't wait to see what other unexpected combinations the developers have in store.
The fact that Fortnite OG is anticipated to be a brief season, lasting only a month, adds a sense of urgency and excitement to the event. The condensed battle pass, consisting of just 50 levels instead of the usual 100, might be seen as a disappointment by some, but I believe it could make the experience more streamlined and focused. With only 50 levels to grind through, players can concentrate on unlocking the rewards they truly desire without feeling overwhelmed.
