Survivor alum Erik Huffman was recently arrested for domestic violence after an alleged altercation with his wife, Jaime Dugan, whom he met on the reality show. A police report, obtained by We the authorities, stated that Huffman, 43, was involved in a disturbance call at a convenience store in Spartanburg, South Carolina in January.
Huffman told the police that he was searching for Dugan, who had left him at the store after an argument. The disagreement started when Dugan accused him of cheating and they fought over his phone. Huffman expressed his concern for Dugan's safety.
After speaking with Huffman, the authorities reached out to Dugan, who had a different story to tell. According to Dugan, she discovered Huffman's secret phone while they were in the car. She claimed that they argued over the device, resulting in her fingernail being broken and some minor cuts on her hand. Dugan explained that she left Huffman at the convenience store because she felt unsafe.
After listening to both parties, the police concluded that Huffam was the main instigator. He was taken into custody on a third-degree domestic violence offense that same day. The case was officially closed after the incident.

Erik Huffman is a former contestant on Survivor: China, which aired in 2007. He competed alongside Dugan as part of the Zhan Hu tribe. The two formed an alliance early in the game and both managed to make it to the merge. Unfortunately, Dugan was the first jury member after being voted out due to a fake idol play. Huffman finished in 6th place overall.

While on the island, Huffman and Dugan never officially declared their relationship. However, they became close allies due to their similar backgrounds.
During an interview with Reality TV World in November 2007, Dugan shared, "Erik and I are both from the southern region, specifically from South Carolina. We found that we had a lot of things in common. I trusted him because he always seemed honest. He was genuinely a good person, and I felt comfortable confiding in him. Having him on the island with me was like having a piece of home with me."
One year after appearing on Survivor, Huffman popped the question to Dugan. In April 2009, they got married. Their wedding made them the first contestants from the same season of Survivor to tie the knot. They now have a son named Harper.
