Sandra Diaz-Twine came close to reaching the end of The Traitors season 2, using her social skills to secure a fifth-place finish.

Does this story sound familiar? Known as the Queen of Survivor, the 49-year-old has a talent for surviving in these competitions by any means necessary. As the only woman to win Survivor twice, Sandra is a true legend. She recently shared her knowledge with new players in season 39, Island of the Idols, and also competed in season 40’s Winners at War showdown. But would she be willing to make a comeback if given the opportunity?

"I'm not sure if I'd return," she mentioned in an interview with Entertainment Weekly on March 20. "I mean, why would they even want me back, right?"

She continued, "I'd really have to think about it because I feel like I may have already moved on."

Sandra is unsure if she will play Survivor again, and the chances of her being offered the opportunity are getting slimmer. The series has not brought back any returning castaways since season 40, except for Bruce Perreault, who got injured in season 44 and returned in 45. Host Jeff Probst mentioned that there won't be any returners until season 48, but season 50 could be the perfect time to bring back some legends.

Many fans would be thrilled to see Sandra come back for a season 50 celebration, but she mentioned that the challenges on The Traitors had her struggling. As Survivor continues to evolve in its new era, the challenges are becoming more difficult. Sandra was never known for her physical strength, often opting to sit out challenges and relying on her social game for safety.

"Season 50 is being hailed as the top season," Sandra mentioned. "I like to think I'm among the best, but I have to admit, I'm not as young as before."

Despite the unlikelihood of Sandra returning to Survivor, it seems like she still has a fondness for reality TV.

"I hope Peacock reaches out to me for future projects. The Traitors show had a great mix of reality stars from different franchises, which made it successful. Anyone looking to create an amazing season should follow the same formula," she mentioned.

Survivor legend Cirie Fields recently appeared on Big Brother 25, lasting 93 days and finishing in fifth place. Sandra quickly dismissed the idea of doing a full season of Big Brother ("My husband would not be happy"), but she is open to the possibility of a shorter project ("I prefer something short and sweet").

Does that mean the next time Celebrity Big Brother rolls around, we could see Sandra on the CBS hit? It’s easy to picture her setting up shop in the HoH room, pulling strings from the sidelines.

Editor's P/S:

Sandra Diaz-Twine, the legendary "Queen of Survivor," remains a beloved figure in the reality TV world. Despite her impressive accomplishments, Sandra is hesitant to return to Survivor, citing her age and the evolving nature of the challenges. However, she remains open to future projects, particularly those that showcase her social skills and strategic gameplay.

Sandra's reluctance to commit to another season of Survivor is understandable. The game has become increasingly physically demanding, and Sandra's strengths lie in her social and strategic abilities. She acknowledges that the younger generation of players may have an advantage in the physical challenges, but she believes her experience and cunning would still make her a formidable opponent. Sandra's comments suggest that she may be open to a shorter-term project, such as a guest appearance on Celebrity Big Brother, where her social skills and strategic gameplay could shine.
