Bachelor Nation's Teddi Wright and her boyfriend, Nicholas, recently celebrated their love by getting married in the beautiful Napa Valley, California. After a year of dating, the couple decided to tie the knot surrounded by their 97 close friends and family. In an interview with People on Monday, November 13, Wright expressed how important it was for their wedding to have an intimate atmosphere, filled with people who have played a significant role in their individual and shared journeys. The wedding turned into a joyous weekend extravaganza, symbolizing their love and creating cherished memories with their loved ones.
"Our wedding exceeded all our expectations and will forever remain a cherished memory. It was truly a dream come true, a day we will never forget."
In April, the Bachelor season 26 alum announced on social media that the couple had become engaged.
"This is love. I am thrilled to be engaged and incredibly grateful that I will be able to spend the rest of my life with my closest companion," shared Wright on Instagram. Accompanying the heartfelt message was a video of the couple. "I've been in tears for days since it happened, and it still feels surreal," added Wright. She unveiled her new relationship to fans almost two months after her departure from season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise.
"Apologies for my absence, everyone. I contracted COVID and was in a really tough spot. However, I am now back," shared the nurse from the surgical unit on her Instagram Stories in December 2022. "During my break, I continued to work and enjoyed dancing with my adorable little boy. There might be other things too that I will reveal in due time..."
Merely a few days later, Wright provided her fans a glimpse into her relationship with Nicholas through her social media posts.
"Happy new year 🫶#2023! This was my very first New Year's kiss ever," wrote the Instagram user, a California native, as she captioned a video showcasing multiple heartwarming moments with her then-boyfriend.
Fans were introduced to Wright during Clayton Echard's season 26 of The Bachelor, which was broadcast in January 2022. Despite being eliminated in week 7 of the ABC show, Wright eagerly joined the 8th season of BiP with the hope of meeting Bachelorette alum Andrew Spencer.
Wright spoke exclusively to We in March 2022, expressing her admiration for Andrew Spencer, whom she found cute and joyful. She also praised his sense of humor and attractiveness. Nevertheless, when they finally met in person on BiP, the anticipated romantic connection failed to ignite, resulting in Wright's early departure from Paradise.
"I desire to enter into matrimony and have children. ... I yearn to return home and overcome this situation, finding that special someone," expressed Wright in an October 2022 episode. "I feel immense remorse. I simply wish to depart immediately. I understand that you hoped I would discover love here, but unfortunately, that is not the case. I wish to depart without a grand farewell to everyone."
After leaving and encountering Nicholas, Wright shared her feeling of being "proud" for removing herself from a "hurtful" atmosphere.
"Leaving toxic environments that are harmful to both myself and the people around me and staying committed to maintaining my boundaries, regardless of how many times individuals in positions of authority attempt to overstep them. Looking forward to embarking on this new chapter and eagerly anticipating what the remainder of the year has in store."
