Forest Green have chosen David Horseman as their new head coach, concluding Hannah Dingley's significant interim period by the end of this month.
Dingley immediately assumed control of Forest Green after being appointed, overseeing a 1-1 pre-season friendly draw against Melksham Town. However, the League Two club has opted for Horseman, the coach of Southampton B team, as their new permanent manager. Nonetheless, Dingley will continue to lead the team for their upcoming two friendly matches against Coventry and Everton Under-21s.

Delighted with the appointment, Forest Green chairman Dale Vince, who appointed Dingley as interim head coach earlier this month, expressed his satisfaction, stating that David's extensive experience and contemporary approach align with the club's vision. Dingley's standout performance among over 100 applicants for the position further solidified his selection.
