Finn Wolfhard, known for his role in Stranger Things, recently shared his experience of financing his upcoming horror comedy film Hell of a Summer, which he promises will be an exciting ride. The 20-year-old actor also reminisced about the challenges he faced while seeking funding for the movie as a young filmmaker. Scroll down to read what Wolfhard had to say.
While on set, laughter was a constant. It was hard to believe that two kids were given the resources to create such a wild film. It's not to diminish the accomplishment, as I'm very proud of it, but it was definitely a crazy idea.
Securing funding for the project was a challenge. We were often met with skepticism due to our young age. However, we wanted the film to speak for itself. Age should not be a defining factor in filmmaking. Everyone has a story to tell and should take the opportunity to do so if given the chance.
