Finn Wolfhard, known for his role in Stranger Things, recently shared his experience of financing his upcoming horror comedy film Hell of a Summer, which he promises will be an exciting ride. While on set, laughter was a constant. It was hard to believe that two kids were given the resources to create such a wild film. It's not to diminish the accomplishment, as I'm very proud of it, but it was definitely a crazy idea.

Securing funding for the project was a challenge. We were often met with skepticism due to our young age. However, we wanted the film to speak for itself. Age should not be a defining factor in filmmaking. Everyone has a story to tell and should take the opportunity to do so if given the chance.

Everything We Know About Hell Of A Summer

The upcoming slasher film, Hell of a Summer, revolves around a summer camp and has been co-written by Wolfhard and Bryk. This isn't the first time the duo has worked together, having previously shared screen time in Ghostbusters: Afterlife and When You Finish Saving the World. Although the release date for the movie is yet to be announced, the fact that filming has wrapped up suggests that it may hit the screens sooner than later.

Apart from Wolfhard and Bryk, the film features a talented cast that includes Fred Hechinger (The White Lotus), Abby Quinn (Mad About You), and D'Pharaoh Woon (Reservation Dogs).
