Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 241, scheduled for release on November 6, 2023, has already had its spoilers leaked. Fans had high hopes for a Yuji vs Sukuna showdown after the release of a colored illustration in the previous chapter. Unfortunately, Mangaka Gege Akutami’s twist left fans feeling incredibly disappointed.
In the previous chapter, Angel suggested that Takaba should take on Kenjaku during their battle against Sukuna. The chapter then focused on the comedic back-and-forth between Takaba and Kenjaku during their fight. However, the chapter ended with Takaba feeling defeated and questioning himself.

Jujutsu Kaisen manga disappoints fans with no Yuji vs Sukuna in chapter 241
In WSJ #48, the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, a Lead Color Page featuring Jujutsu Kaisen has been unveiled, courtesy of Shueisha.
A highly-anticipated colored illustration was showcased last week, providing fans with a more detailed glimpse of Yuji Itadori's arm and subtly implying the presence of a potential Cursed Technique. Since then, fans have eagerly anticipated the upcoming chapter, eagerly hoping for a riveting showdown between Yuji and Sukuna.
According to spoilers from Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 241, the next manga installment will center around Takaba's flashback and his battle against Kenjaku. This news further disappointed fans as it was announced that the series would go on a hiatus after the release of the upcoming chapter. As a result, fans may have to endure a significant wait before seeing the anticipated showdown between Yuji and Sukuna.
How fans reacted to Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 241 spoilers
As fans are well aware, once the manga series is released in Japan via the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, spoilers inevitably find their way online. Consequently, the timing of these leaked spoilers becoming available worldwide varies across different regions.
Thus, unlike certain countries where people can access the spoilers in the morning, there are many countries where people have to stay up quite late at night to read the spoilers. Consequently, when fans discovered that the chapter was centered around Takaba and Kenjaku instead of Yuji vs Sukuna, they expressed their disappointment and lost all the excitement they had for the chapter.
Some fans criticized Mangaka Gege Akutami for teasing them with the colored illustration. While some jokingly issued threats towards the series creator, others sarcastically expressed gratitude for a chapter that they deemed subpar.
Taking advantage of the situation, certain Jujutsu Kaisen fans also aimed their criticism at One Piece manga creator Eiichiro Oda, comparing the storytelling abilities of the two series creators. While fans were displeased with Gege Akutami's recent manga chapters involving Takaba and Kenjaku, they believed that Eiichiro Oda's work on the Wano Country Arc was even worse.

Numerous fans expressed their belief that the clash between Takaba and Kenjaku served no purpose. It was clear that Kenjaku, being a significant antagonist, would not be defeated by Takaba. As a result, Takaba's inevitable defeat prolonged the fight unnecessarily in the manga.
One fan expressed concern that if Takaba were to somehow weaken Kenjaku, it would significantly undermine the upcoming battles, thus rendering the entire fight meaningless. Compounding the issue, the series was scheduled to go on hiatus immediately after the publication of chapter 241.
Editor's P/S
As a Gen Z netizen, I have mixed feelings about the recent developments in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. On the one hand, I understand the frustration of fans who were eagerly anticipating the Yuji vs Sukuna fight. The colored illustration in the previous chapter certainly raised expectations, and it's disappointing that we'll have to wait even longer to see this highly anticipated battle.
On the other hand, I appreciate Akutami's decision to focus on Takaba and Kenjaku's fight instead. While this may not have been what fans were expecting, it's important to remember that Jujutsu Kaisen is a complex story with many different characters and plotlines. Akutami is clearly taking his time to develop these characters and their relationships, and I believe that this will ultimately make the story more satisfying in the long run.
Overall, I'm still excited about the future of Jujutsu Kaisen, and I'm confident that Akutami will deliver an epic conclusion to the story. In the meantime, I'll be patiently waiting for the Yuji vs Sukuna fight, and I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
