He mentioned, "The books are independent stories. When we turned them into a series, it deviated a bit from the original essence of the books. However, it was crucial for us to maintain the tone of not underestimating children. In this season, we made sure that the horror elements were a result of the characters' actions. They were not just passive recipients of events."

Goosebumps Season 2 originally featured Isa Briones, Ana Yi Puig, Zack Morris, Miles McKenna, and Will Price as the main characters. However, Disney announced a cast and story change when the show was renewed four months later.
