Young Sheldon Season 7 is just weeks away from returning to screens, teasing a redemption arc for Missy Cooper with new images. While the show mainly revolves around her brother, Missy Cooper (Raegan Revord) has somewhat been overlooked in the recent episodes.

In contrast to her brother's personality, Missy apologized to George amidst an approaching tornado at the end of Season 6 and began displaying more typical teenage behavior. Luckily for Missy fans, new Season 7 images hint at a potential redemption arc for her character in Young Sheldon.

As Season 7 begins, the aftermath of the tornado is causing the Cooper family to come to terms with the situation - with the exception of Sheldon (Iain Armitage) and Mary, who are now settled in Germany.

After the storm cleared in Medford, Missy stepped into a new role within the Cooper family as the house was in chaos. As per the official synopsis for Season 7 Episode 1, "News of the tornado reaches Sheldon and Mary in Germany; with the Cooper house in chaos, Missy steps up."

Missy is seen taking Mary’s place at the dinner table in the new image, signaling a shift away from her previous questionable behavior. This change indicates that her family is now prepared to regard her more seriously.

Up until Season 5, Missy played a secondary role to her brother Sheldon, but in Season 6, she takes matters into her own hands. As she steps up to lead the family through turmoil, it becomes clear that Missy may just be the one with the most level-headed approach.

"I'm absolutely loving Young Sheldon right now, it's my go-to comfort show. I don't want it to end because I'll miss the entire cast, especially Missy," wrote one fan on X/Twitter, anticipating the release of Season 7.

"Missy on Young Sheldon is incredibly funny. Her comedic timing is fantastic for her age," another fan added.

As an enthusiastic fan of Young Sheldon, I am thrilled to hear about Missy Cooper's redemption arc in Season 7. Missy has always been a bit of a wild child, often getting into trouble and causing chaos for her family. However, it seems that she is finally starting to grow up and take responsibility for her actions. I am excited to see how her character develops over the course of the season and how she contributes to the Cooper family's dynamics.

I believe that Missy's redemption arc is a great opportunity for the show to explore her character more deeply and give her a chance to shine. In previous seasons, Missy has often been overshadowed by her brother Sheldon, but it seems that she is finally getting her time in the spotlight. I am confident that Raegan Revord will do an amazing job portraying Missy's transformation and I can't wait to see what the future holds for her character.
