Pavitr Prabhakar's (Spider-Man India) voice actor, Karan Soni, has expressed concerns about the direction of the upcoming film and the pressure to match the success and perfection of the trilogy.

However, Soni's worries about the second film not living up to its predecessor were proven to be baseless. Taking history into consideration, it is highly likely that Beyond the Spider-Verse will exceed fans' lofty expectations.

One actor who plays Spider-Man expressed concerns about the upcoming film Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, as there were similar issues raised during the previous Spider-Verse installment.

Spider-Verse is a planned trilogy of animated movies based on the beloved character Spider-Man, who is one of the most beloved heroes in the Marvel Comics universe. Specifically, the trilogy focuses on the character Miles Morales and tells the story of his origins and his adventures within the interconnected realities of the Spider-Verse. The first film, Into the Spider-Verse, was incredibly successful and almost featured cameos from actors such as Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire. This success continued with the release of the second film, Across the Spider-Verse.

In addition to its tremendous success, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse also laid the foundation for Beyond the Spider-Verse. The majority of the beloved voice cast, cherished by fans, is poised to return for the climactic conclusion of the trilogy. The anticipation among fans for the franchise to conclude on a high note is deeply felt. However, a concern has been expressed by one star of the film series regarding the upcoming final installment. Karan Soni, the voice of Pavitr Prabhakar (a.k.a. Spider-Man India), shared his uncertainties about the future of the trilogy in an interview with The Movie Dweeb. "And I’m a little bit like, 'How are they gonna make the next one?' I’m just like, 'What else is there to do?'” confessed the star. “But, I feel worried for them. It’s like, you can only set the bar… Because, we’re so close to it being a perfect trilogy and now, I’m just like worried about what they’re gonna do, because I just feel anxiety for them of what is allowed to do."

Soni has had anxiety before when it comes to the franchise. He kept his love for the first film a secret from the co-writers and producers, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. As a result, he also felt anxious about the second installment, doubting it could live up to the first. However, his fears were proven wrong as the second film became a success, with many people debating which is better between Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Across the Spider-Verse.

Based on past experience, Soni shouldn't worry about Beyond the Spider-Verse. His character had a significant role in one of the most important scenes of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After watching the completed movie, he was amazed by how good it was and surprised that people are watching it multiple times.

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse has been removed from the studio release schedule due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.
