October 28 marks National First Responders Day in the United States, a day dedicated to honoring the hard work and dedication of EMTs, paramedics, 911 operators, and other professionals in related fields. To celebrate and kick off its second season, Disney Junior will air a special episode of its musical animated series Firebuds. Joining the cast as a guest star is Harvey Guillén from What We Do in the Shadows. As a special treat for our audience, our website is thrilled to exclusively premiere a new clip from the upcoming season, featuring Guillén.
Firebuds revolves around the lives of three young kids - Bo, Violet, and Jayden - as they strive to follow in the footsteps of their first-responder parents. While their parents handle more significant emergencies, the trio, along with their vehicle companions, Flash the fire engine, Axl the ambulance, and Piston the police car, do their best to help their community in any way they can. The initial set of episodes in Season 2 includes Guillén's episode, "Blizzard Buds," where the Firebuds embark on a snowy adventure to locate their friend's uncle in time for Christmas.
Guillén has previously voiced other Disney Junior characters, such as Funny in Mickey Mouse Funhouse, appearing in more than 40 episodes.
The latest clip showcases the trio embarking on a rescue mission for Uncle Tad, a tow truck that ironically requires towing. Upon reaching their destination, they express their concern for their worried friend. Fortunately, Uncle Tad remains relatively unfazed by the situation, referring to the snow as "nature's wrapping paper." It appears that Uncle Tad is the one truly embracing the holiday spirit. Nonetheless, the crew springs into action to assist Uncle Tad. However, amidst the commotion, Uncle Tad accidentally drops a present. Flash attempts to retrieve it, resulting in unforeseen consequences.
