In the latest issue of We, the 36-year-old artist reveals that he engages in FaceTime conversations with his wife, Kailey, and their son, Remington, when they are not accompanying him on his travels.
The country singer, who married Kailey in 2013, is currently on his Big Wheels & Back Roads Tour, starting on September 21. Prior to embarking on the tour, Russell released his new EP Three Months Two Streets Down in June. Russell Dickerson Loves to Facetime His Wife and Son Before Playing Live Shows
While Russell Dickerson is out on the road, he still makes sure to make time for his wife and kids.
Russell, 36, exclusively shares in the latest issue of We that if his wife Kailey and his son Remington are not on the road with him that weekend, he usually FaceTimes them to say hi. The country singer, who got married to Kailey, 33, in 2013, is currently on his Big Wheels & Back Roads Tour, which started on September 21. In June, two months before hitting the road, Russell released his new EP Three Months Two Streets Down.

7 a.m.
“I typically rise around 7 a.m., depending on our schedule for the day,” Russell shares with Us, mentioning his unwavering devotion to coffee as he describes himself as a “major coffee aficionado” who kickstarts his mornings with “one or two cups.”

9 a.m.
Whenever Russell has some free time in the morning, he thoroughly enjoys "fitting in a game of golf" with his buddies. "We have tried out numerous courses throughout the years, so it's always exciting to reflect on those!" he exclaims.

1 p.m.
Russell proceeds to conduct a sound check, ensuring everything is in order for the upcoming evening. "We will go through a few songs to confirm that everything is set," he clarifies. "It's a crucial moment for getting into the right mindset for the show later tonight."

6 p.m.
After showering, changing wardrobe and warm-ups, Russell loves to FaceTime Kailey and son Remington, 3.

9 p.m.
"Performing live gigs is undoubtedly one of the highlights of my profession; there is truly nothing that compares," expresses Russell to Us. "Experiencing that electrifying atmosphere every night and personally connecting with the RD Fam is always an extraordinary experience."

11 p.m.
Immediately following a performance, Russell openly acknowledges that his initial priority is to satisfy his hunger. "Though I have become quite adept at planning my meals in advance while on tour to maintain my fitness, there are occasions when I simply must indulge in devouring a delectable chicken sandwich or cheeseburger!"
