The Hulk's adventures on the big screen precede the inception of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, making him one of Marvel's oldest and most beloved characters. Additionally, much like Spider-Man, the Hulk's cinematic rights are not fully owned by Marvel.

Due to this, numerous Hulk projects in the cinematic realm have been made available on various non-Disney Plus platforms. For instance, the renowned 2008 film, "The Incredible Hulk," was released on HBO Max. Nevertheless, the character's first solo live-action project, "Hulk" from 2003, may be on its way to joining the Marvel content on Disney Plus. A listing on Hulu's September 2023 content schedule indicates that the project's days on the streaming platform are limited, as the film's license is set to expire on September 30th.
