However, it appears that Ahsoka Season 2 is currently a more likely project, although nothing has been confirmed. There were no indications tonight that Ahsoka will return in the near future. Unfortunately, production has been delayed due to the WGA and actors' strikes. Since all productions have been halted and considering the success of Ahsoka season 1, Lucasfilm now has the opportunity to fully explore and resolve the loose story threads in Ahsoka season 2 before releasing The Mandalorian film.

Lucasfilm's Star Wars Plans Seem To Be In Flux (Again)

Similar actions may be taken with regards to Ahsoka season 2, and in this case, it seems like a logical decision. It would be challenging not to continue this series for another season, especially considering the numerous unanswered questions that must be addressed before Filoni's Mandalorian movie.

Ahsoka and Sabine find themselves stranded in a different galaxy, Baylan Skoll is involved in a scheme involving the Mortis gods, and Thrawn has just reemerged in the Star Wars galaxy with Dathomir as his headquarters. There is still much to wrap up, and this task should not be carried out by the limited staff of the Skeleton Crew or The Mandalorian season 4. Each of these shows has its own unique stories and characters that require attention, and attempting to incorporate all these answers into The Mandalorian movie would overwhelm the project. Hopefully, Lucasfilm will consider releasing Ahsoka season 2 before the movie, allowing the story to develop and breathe before culminating in this thrilling era on the big screen.
